Simonyan after Sevastopol proposed announcing a NATO ultimatum

RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan said that she has a theory about the further development of events in the sphere of the Russian Northern Military District and the relations of the Russian Federation with the rest of the world. The theory, she said, is that “the escalation will continue in geometric progression,” and she cited the missile attack on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol as evidence of this.

She placed responsibility for the escalation on the “collective West,” which “rules Kiev.” In this regard, Simonyan believes that the situation will not change “until we are forced to present them all with an ultimatum.”

“That from now on we will treat them as participants in the conflict,” Simonyan said in her Telegram channel.

In the next post, she quoted someone else's opinion that Russia should shoot down NATO planes. “For starters,” Simonyan commented.

And that is her good side.

“until we are forced to present them all with an ultimatum.”

"Stop it or we will leave."

Russia will treat Nato as participants in the conflict?

What would be of considerably greater consequence would be Nato treating Nato as participants in the conflict!

In response to the attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet, Russia prepared retaliation
“Decision-making centers will be affected”

Russia must carefully consider how to deliver painful retaliatory strikes against those who organized the attack on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol. The chairman of the board of the All-Russian organization “Officers of Russia,” reserve lieutenant colonel Roman Shkurlatov, told MK on Friday, September 22. He told what the evening response to the strike would be.

The headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet was hit by a British Storm Shadow cruise missile. In total, several cruise missiles were fired at the city. Most of them were shot down by air defense, one hit the headquarters building of the Black Sea Fleet. One of the missiles was shot down near Bakhchisarai.

Experts note that some of the missiles that struck Crimea were launched from a Su-24 bomber of the Ukrainian Air Force, and another part was launched from ground launchers located at the Kulbakino airfield in the east of Nikolaev.

In addition, during the attack on Sevastopol, an “on duty” US Navy aircraft, a P-8A Poseidon, was spotted over the neutral waters of the Black Sea,
According to military expert, reserve lieutenant colonel Roman Shkurlatov, all this suggests that the raid on Sevastopol was actually organized by NATO countries.

“A strike on Sevastopol would have been impossible without coordination and technical assistance from NATO,” he says. – Reconnaissance, guidance, illumination of targets for missiles - this is a whole complex of technical means that the Armed Forces of Ukraine physically do not have. But NATO has them. Therefore, we need to think about how to more effectively respond not only to the Kyiv regime, but also to the puppet masters who are in the shadows. We need to think about how to do this so as not to be directly drawn into a clash with NATO, but at the same time inflict sensitive blows on them.

In addition, Shkurlatov noted that the retaliatory strike should be “balanced and calm.”

“Retribution, like revenge, is a dish that should be served cold,” he says. “Therefore, the retaliatory strike must be delivered exactly in the place and when the enemy least expects it, in order to inflict maximum military damage on him.” But in any case, the answer must be crushing.

We need to respond harshly, I would even say cruelly, to every such outburst. I think that today we will see anxiety throughout Ukraine; I think the decision centers will be affected, but that is not enough. It is necessary to develop a reflex in the enemy, like Pavlov’s dog. So that after attacks on our territories, ten times more will arrive in response and hit ten times more military, critical and dual enemy infrastructure.

This is what professional FPV pilots do and what an FPV drone can do and usually does when not carrying a bomb. The bike rider has skill, but so does the pilot following him! It is easy to train someone to fly a DJI photo/video drone, a lot of it has been automated like level flight, hovering and holding altitude just by letting go of the controls, do that with an FPV drone and you will crash. New digital equipment gives a much better picture to the FPV pilot, but analog allows more flexibly, and more long-range equipment is available for it at this point.

Peanuts in terms of military equipment but the drones can be made cheaper than 5K each, but the kits do include other things. They appear to be made from foam core board, not cardboard which is heavier and assembled with hot glue, an RC flight control computer with GPS, 2 servos, the propulsion kit with prop and battery should cost around $250 plus the cost of the foamboard and balsawood reinforced airframe. The Ukrainians can make their own cheaper versions of these things for sure. They can be mass produced using assembly line methods with volunteers and any place that can stamp out cardboard cartons can stamp out these.

Ukraine's flat-pack cardboard drones destroying Russian jets

A fleet of drones made out of cardboard and held together with elastic bands and tape are thought to have destroyed or damaged at least five Russian jets in the Ukraine war.

The drones arrive flat-packed like some well-known Swedish furniture.

A bit of sticky tape and a few elastic bands later, and what you get is a military-grade UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) that is able to carry several kilos of explosives over 75 miles.

Drones are changing war, and they need to develop military grade transceivers and EW shielding kits for several types of commercial and RC drones. The kits would not cost much to produce and could be dropped into commercial and RC drones replacing the simple hobby equipment with something more robust. A transceiver these days is a couple of chips on a 1" square PC board and cost a few bucks at most. They don't need to be completely EW proof, just make it harder to jam and bring them down unless they are really close with a powerful EM gun.

If they did this, they could purchase and convert large numbers of drones quickly and not lose nearly as many of them to enemy action. I think eventually every man in a unit will be packing a drone or a spare in the near future and everybody will know how to fly them, including the harder to fly FPV ones. As batteries get better their range and endurance will increase, so will their utility, they give the side that uses them a very big tactical advantage and can even substitute for more expensive military drones and can save artillery rounds too. The militaries are absorbing the lessons of Ukraine and adapting, trying to figure out the best way to use and deploy these things with troops on the ground. I'm sure all those drone attack videos have got a lot of military officers thinking.

British Army drone operators develop battlefield tactics

On the Salisbury Plain training area, military personnel get into position for a day of assessment and evaluation of drone operating teams.

The aim is to "develop tactical thinking, rather than just technical competence", explains WO1 Dave Hird, the Command Sergeant Major at the Land Warfare Centre.

The soldiers are all already technically qualified, having been through the Military Aviation Authority process required to operate small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

Don't worry, Uncle Joe will make sure you can kick the Russians asses, drive them from Ukraine and destroy the future threat from them before his first term is over. With any luck Vlad might find his way out a window too.

I expect GOP opposition to Ukraine and support for Russia will follow Trump's fate and he has more to worry about than the war in Ukraine with probable disqualification by the end of this year and then almost certain convictions next year. He will go down in flames right in the middle of the GOP primary, during Trump's DC J6 trial is when the shit storm will peak! Donald will have primary power over all the republican house members and the senators who are running in 24 and he will be on trial looking at life in prison during their primaries. Disqualified or not, they will still dance to his tune until the BOP muzzles him, by then he might be bankrupt and his power over morons and lunatics might be all he has left.

If you want tweets to display here, then change it.

There will be a pause or slowdown during the fall rains, but the offensive will continue all winter long and I figure the Ukrainians will make significant gains when the green cover is gone and many of the mines laying in the fields are more visible. Fighting might slow down this winter depending on conditions, but it won't stop, and Ukraine will continue to gain ground and slaughter Russians while destroying more of their equipment. I figure they will have the Russian supply lines under fire control and the Kerch bridge gone before weather slows things down too much. I think the plan is to starve Crimea this winter and try to clear southwestern Ukraine down to the neck of Crimea. Ukrainian F16s and others will bomb the shit out of the Russians during the winter and spring with glide bombs and cruise missiles. Next spring the Russians will be either broken or about to be and the more untrained poorly led troops Vlad pours into Ukraine will just mean more prisoners for the Ukrainians.

Russia still has lots of shit left that needs to be destroyed and this war won't be over until most of it is gone, I figure.
I'm very curious about the F-16's arrival and it's impact, want to see how it fares in air to air vs. Russian jets and how vulnerable it is vs. a modern system like the S-400, and hoe ballzy Ukraine will get trying to give some support to ground troops, once it arrives you can count on Zelinskey lobbying for EVERY armament this versatile jet can carry from the US and Europeans.

Who'd have thought 40 yrs. ago when this dickhead was tooling around w/Don King at Atlantic City boxing extravaganza's that at almost 80 yrs he'd have almost burned down every venerable federal institution and serve as ringleader lighting the fuse in the sacking of Congress as President, and be the frontrunner in 2024 while under 2 federal and 2 state court cases as the most corrupt man to ever serve as President while leading a zombie posse of retarded minions whose minds have been turned into mush by fake news and lies a 7 yr. old has the mental capacity to reason with as complete BS.

The F-16 should not get close to the front line, the important thing is its radar and the missiles it can fire at the Russian aircraft. The F-16 is suppose to have a greater standoff distance than the Russians.

It reads like a chapter in Gibbon’s Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.
