idk.....hmmm

humanitarian reasons possibly

here is what we want: womens rights and quit sending arm to Russia........
Quit sending arms to Russia, women's rights are their business as long as they have a form of democratic government, they are no worse than Saudi Arabia and the gulf states. The government there has popular support among conservatives, but there is a generational shift as things like the internet have their impact. The Saudi's are a despotic kingdom and kleptocracy where women have even fewer rights, as are other rich Muslim allies. Saudi Wahhabism is more radical and fundamentalist than Iranian Shia Islam with its more structured and organized clergy.

women have more right in Saudi than Iran mate. And keep in mind to protests happening for the women of iran too. At least a Saudi woman can get a drivers license, and actually work. While in Iran if your a woman and don't dress right first thing they do is send you to prison......

The Muslims treat their women badly by modern western standards, but they only had the right to vote 100 years ago here and were considered either the property of their fathers or husbands. Muslims in Europe generally treat women better and more equally, but the Saudi's are among the worst, the Iranian women have about the same rights in both places. IMO they are just storing up social trouble as new generations come under the influence of the internet and less under the influence of their religion, this is happening in Iran and other Muslim countries with conservative backlashes too. We see such backlashes in America too where women lost basic human rights, not just constitutional ones.

Schumer: Zelensky says Ukraine will lose war without aid
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said the most important message Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered to lawmakers was that failure to deliver more U.S. assistance would condemn Ukraine to a Russian takeover.

“There was a single sentence that summed it all up, and I’m quoting him verbatim. Mr. Zelensky said ‘If we don’t get the aid, we will lose the war.’ That’s a quote from him,” Schumer told reporters following a closed-door meeting with the Ukrainian president.

Zelensky was on Capitol Hill appealing for additional and sustained U.S. assistance to Ukraine as it has pushed back against Russian forces nearly 19 months since a full-scale invasion was launched in February 2022.

The Ukrainian president, speaking to reporters after his meeting with lawmakers, said that he had a “very strong dialogue” with senators and updated them on the situation on the battlefield, Kyiv’s military plans and the importance of U.S. support.

When asked if he had a message for Russian President Vladimir Putin, Zelensky simply responded, “I am not speaking to him.”

The Biden administration has asked Congress to approve $24 billion in additional funding for Ukraine. While the majority of lawmakers support helping Ukraine survive under Russian assault, there is significant opposition among Republicans, with some lawmakers supporting military assistance but opposing financial aid and hard-line GOP members opposing all funds for Ukraine.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has said that he would like to see the $24 billion supplemental request for Ukraine be brought to a vote as a stand-alone bill, as opposed to attaching it to additional government funding that Ukraine’s supporters feel would allow the assistance to more easily pass through the chaotic Congress.

In a signal of the vocal opposition among some GOP lawmakers, more than two dozen Republicans published a letter opposing U.S. assistance to Ukraine Thursday.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) explained that she opposed a House procedural vote on Defense spending because it included security assistance for Ukraine. The procedural vote went down to defeat Thursday as Republicans battled one another.

Congress has appropriated an estimated $113 billion in funding for Ukraine as part of four supplemental packages. The Biden administration is expected to announce an additional aid package as Zelensky visits with President Biden at the White House.

Joe would declare Russia a terrorist state, confiscate their American assets, including a lot of private ones and then give them to the Ukrainians, before allowing them to be defeated or stopping them from defeating the Russians. The issue divides the GOP and exposes those who back Russia among them, being soft on Russia might not be that popular, Ukraine divides republicans more evenly than most issues. If they kick the Russians asses before or during the US election, things might seem different to some. A victory in Ukraine before the election in 24 can only help and vindicate Biden and fuck Putin. Facing Joe for another 4 years would be a daunting task for Vlad, if he survives that long, considering what the Russians did to America with Trump, Joe could be as eager to fuck Vlad as the Ukrainians! Winning in Ukraine will help with winning in America, which is why the magats don't like it, it will be a major blow to global fascism and other authoritarians.

Nothing of interest in the Russian news. One article that is not full of lies, well, maybe blaming others and not the war.

Russia has permanently banned fuel exports
Russia has decided to limit fuel exports indefinitely. This statement was made by First Deputy Minister of Energy Pavel Sorokin.

“The measure should have an effect very quickly, because leaching will stop, because a fairly significant volume was bought by unscrupulous market participants on the stock exchange or at oil depots and then exported. Now there is no such possibility,” reported Sorokin in a video published on the telegram channel. According to him, the ban on fuel exports will change wholesale prices, since supplies from bona fide participants will create a surplus in the Russian domestic market.

Earlier, Deputy General Director of the Institute of National Energy, Alexander Frolov, in a conversation with URA.RU, noted that the ban on the export of commercial and diesel fuel from the country, introduced by the Russian government, would hit “gray” exporters, which would help balance prices. The day before, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that wholesale fuel prices had gone down and the market was balancing.

I read they caught a lot of Russia brass there and did a number on the place. Turning the lights out there is logical if you want to reduce the Russians effectiveness, it is Ukrainian territory, and they can do as they please there.
i caught it this morning, seems they did a number on that building. For the last few day, i have also been reading that the Russian Navy is slowly pulling out of the area, especially since the dry dock hit.....
