With good flexible solar panels in say 5 years, ya could carry one that could roll out from the rear and triple the charging rate when parked, a low aerodynamic trailer with lots of solar panels and a battery hooked on to it, would give ya a 2000-mile battery range in total and enough solar power for 150 miles a day of recharging range or camping power. You could travel about anywhere in North America tent trailer camping with free transportation costs, even power for camping and devices.

They recently redesigned the Aptera to have replaceable photovoltaics. So if a useful increment comes down the pike, it could probably be an upgrade.

Only Asian locale I’d accept is Japan. I’m on the fence about Taiwan. But India, Indochina, Indonesia, hard pass.

It would be a logical kind of light street legal vehicle for a country like China or India to produce and sell dirt cheap in the EU and America, as well as domestically. Free transportation is a big draw and flexible efficient solar panels are on the way, even though they might need periodic replacement, they should be cheap enough. Battery weights should go down too as power densities increase and their costs drop too with global mass production.

One thing about those cheap Chinese versions is they will be cheaper than taking the bus for many people who commute less than 30 miles to work.

our aquifer is a little different than most states cause of our geological area.....our is basically filtered sea water. It usually won't go bellow 500ft, course scientist think it actually deeper than that....cause the sea water goes through lime stone filters under us, then gets pushed up by springs, now local lakes around me are dropping, except 1 which is bout 3 miles south of me it's used for a power station. As long as the springs are going we'll have water for a while, now the rains do help bring up the water lvl.....like now it's at 652FT, that's not the lowest we've see, the highest is 740 ft, we beleive in major water conservation down here.....cause this way....water is gold

keep an eye on her, she'll go to a 5 cause of the warm waters, right now her track sends her north, and some of the tracks are pushing it into the gulf region.....either way she's gonna be a powerful beauty

In this context a beauty is a powerful storm, not a nice thing to look at. His concerns about it blowing up to a cat 5 as it comes ashore are valid, it passes right over the warm waters of the gulf stream before landfall and if it hits as a cat 5 it will be a killer for sure.

My post is a heads up for people living in the path to be prepared to move next week, though the local TV will be telling folks that well in advance.

that one need to be kept an eye on......and it's simply cause of her track....if she's pushed south, florida, cuba are in danger, and it might just turn righ, if that happens, Lousiana, Ol Miss, and Florida are in the danger zone or it might go straight......most computer tracks keep her in the atlantic overall....when she forms and how she form is the beauty of her...her might is the danger....

If it stays just offshore in the gulf stream and works, it's way up the coast, it could cause widespread damage, a hurricane that hugged the east of Florida could wreck the place from end to end, Georgia and the Carolinas too.
 
It’s about time east coast Florida gets hit. Too many are slithering into the gulf and it best not aim at Mississippi, ffs, I just got cyberattacked and am still without internet at work. If this one hits me here, no doubt I am packing my shit and leaving this place. I will miss the shrimp though, lol.
