Inkbird doesn’t like 5G networks. Try a dedicated 2.5 wifi channel and you may get better results.

truth be told; I have a constant issue with their products randomly disconnecting from the wifi and I have to manually add them again. Ive had months of no issues and random weeks where Im constantly dropping connection.
I haven't had an issue with the one you mentioned but I got one of the sets that has the little base and the 4 units that go in the tents and one of them randomly loses connection but I think it's because of an extra wall between that one and the base.

My grow room breaks most wifi products. I suppose the foam board with the foil i lined the room with is creating a faraday cage effect.

my other theory is population density causes intermittent connection issues. Too many damn people running off same/similar frequencies.

none the less, I wish their wifi antennas were a bit more robust.

Actually I got it to connect on their 2.4 network. Turned out the problem was my account wasn't really signed in. When I tried to load it onto another piece of hardware (thank you @Hook Daddy ) it prompted me to login in and voila it worked...... go figure.

I had the problem with connecting to 2.4 myself. What I don't get, is if it can't find the 5g during the search, why can't it find the 2.4? When I shut off the 5g, it finds the 2.4 then.

Yeah I bought this like 6 weeks ago and they immediately sent me a second one that wouldn't connect but their support is a struggle, never in real time. But it's either build this or buy a Cannatrol.

I'm thinking about seeing if there are small flat stainless steel wire racks I could use instead of the curved ones

Does the 5G and the 2.4g network share the same name? The inkbird may not recognize the network if it thinks it a duplicate.

Ok yea, that makes sense. I'm not real savvy on networks anymore. It's there a way to seperate and name each individual frequency?

I thought about it too, but I figured I'd try the silicon mesh, on the shelves that came with the fridge, first.

It shouldn’t be too difficult. Get into your router. Usually you can type the IP address of the router into your browser. The IP is most likely written on the router itself. Then go into advanced settings and look around.

I've been in the advanced settings. It's how I was able to get my Inkbird to connect. I had to shut off 5g frequency, connect the inkbird to 2.4g, then turn the 5g back on. I had to do the same for my controller 69 pro. My thinking is it would take 2 routers. 1 for each frequency. Again I haven't messed around with this kinda shit for years, so I'm not really sure how it works.

My router has both 5g and 2.4g and it’s not a problem, just make sure the device your connecting to is on 2.4, like your phone or tablet, and then connect to the Inkbird device via the app. I’ve got 5 different devices on both my phone and tablet and both router frequencies on, I never turned them off, although they are named differently.

I haven’t changed anything in over 24 hours yet. From my new Inkbird meter here’s the readings, close to exactly what I am shooting for, just have to drop the RH to 58%. So far a nice 6 day dry with a bit to go. You can see the temp rise as the sun hits the room the cooler is in during the afternoon and barely changes, and the rh moves some but is very stable as well. I don’t think either of the small changes could possibly alter the final outcome.

I am going to drop the RH setting to 58.5 and leave the temp the same. This should get me close to final dry numbers in another 2 days.

What's your average room humidity? Mine is going to be in the mid to upper 50s, maybe pushing 60 at some points of the day, and I'm wondering if the dehuey can keep up.

I’m on the east coast, our humidity is through the roof, averaging 80 and up, but the cooler is such a small closed environment the outside humidity doesn’t have as much effect as the temp. The humidity in the cooler is just the buds shedding water unless you open the door a lot, I generally don’t open the cooler once it’s running.

Ok cool. I'm gonna chop tonight, hang til Tuesday night, and cut them down to buds and throw them in. :bigjoint:

My new cooler is just cruising, the temp and humidity is fairly constant so I’m just going to let it cure for a while. It’s staying within a degree for temp and a percent or two for humidity.

I loaded my first cooler up and have it going as well now, set at 60f and 66rh to start. I’ll lower the rh a bit each day until it’s at 58-60. I’ll post some pics in a while.

I noticed the little dehumidifer frezzes after working for a long time and then its not effective.but if you give it a 15min break the ice just slides if the ribs and its good as new.
6months later and she is still sticky and smells like day 1.got some shitty jars that didnt close good those are bone dry

I haven’t noticed the dehumidifier freezing up, I’ll have to watch and see. If mine has it must have defrosted and started working again on its own. I have a fairly fresh batch that went in this weekend, no dry first, maybe I’ll set the step a bit large and make it work hard just to see what happens.

Well I couldn’t get my dehumidifier to freeze up, but probably because it’s ran for a couple days already. I think that might happen easier with large loads that are wet right off the bat.

The new cooler is done with drying and partially curing one load, so into grove bags and off with the next load. The other cooler is running along well and is about done drying.

A few bud pics straight out of the cooler, here’s one of the Dosidos after a quick trim.
