... I am the only one I know ...
Nope ... I know someone who also does the IFS method - Mrs. S!

While it's not 100% of the time, more often than not, I see her using the index finger method instead of the thumb method. I believe it's more for my personal aggravation as opposed to any ailment or any physical restriction of her digits.

And now when I see her do that, I softly mutter and gently shake my head - "We can't be friends anymore!"

Ah, yeah, sounds like this is an area that illinois has a slight edge. All of the regulations come from plants more than 5 inches tall. So I could pop 1000 seeds and keep them all for a week or 2 to see the best ones, then cull down to 5. That sounds illegal based on these bullet points for you
Right. But these are just the broadest outlines of the bill as passed into law. All these definitions will flow from the regulatory process. As of the beginning of July, the regulatory office has not yet hired a director.

That's what I'd like to know.

  • Use, possess, or transport cannabis paraphernalia.
  • Possess or transport up to 2 ounces of cannabis flower in a public place.
  • Possess up to 2 pounds of cannabis flower in a person’s private residence.
  • Possess or transport up to 8 grams of adult-use concentrate.
  • Possess or transport edible cannabis products or lower-potency hemp edibles infused with a combined 800 milligrams or less of THC.
  • Give away cannabis flower and products to a person 21 or older in an amount legal for a person to possess in public.
What’s allowed if a person wants to grow cannabis at home?
  • Up to eight cannabis plants, with no more than four being mature, flowering plants may be grown at a single residence as long as it is at the primary residence of someone 21 or older.
  • Plants must be in an enclosed, locked space that is not open for public view
You mean I have to buy a lock?
Your jumping on the bandwagon right. Kinda lame now that its legal. Wasnt half the fun worrying about getting arrested?

I still have the lock I am legally obligated to install on my grow sitting in a box. I am hoping that owning it shows intents and they won't ask for a receipt on the 4 year old lock.

Yes she is. We have been married for a touch over 40 years and we have done and seen a shitload of stuff in that time. And it feels like we were just married yesterday as opposed to back in 1983.

I can't wait for this crop to come to fruition so I can make her the Everclear tincture she wants. She loves the feeling of the weed high but she is not a smoker. Edibles work but like everyone else, they take a little too long to hit. So we've already got the booze - now we just need the buds.

BTW - anyone have any good tincture recipes using Everclear?

I do a full 750 ml bottle of 90%*, and then shake it up with 4-6 ounces of decarb. Both frozen overnight separately first. Shake like a madman, and strain! I think malty was the one who helped me get here but it's been a bit.

They should sink after the first 6 hours, but it is nice to have some coffee filters or a small strainer around if your mix has more dusty grit that wants to float. Luckily the conversion process usually means folks have some filters around. They make convenient strainers for us daily warriors. A kind of cone shaped sieve that fits to a mason jar mouth.
So the question is, do you just pop the lid off and pour it into your glass? Or do you have a cool apparatus for that as well?
