Examples of GOP Leadership

Bolton is mad because Trump is making big bucks from donors and getting attention he wants in order to make his own bid for the presidency. I don't think he's wrong. I think it just might help Trump win the GOP nomination.

“If Trump is acquitted or he gets the case dismissed because it’s not legally sufficient or for whatever reason, that will be rocket fuel, because he can say, I told you it was a political prosecution, I told you I was being picked on, and now I’ve been vindicated,” Bolton said in an interview with CBS’s “Face The Nation.”

There is always risk of things going badly if one loses. So don't lose. Why do so many people think Bragg is some kind of stumbling idiot? The people who have worked with him as a prosecutor have nothing but good things to say about him.

OTOH Bolton seems very worried about what Trumpism is doing to the party itself.

And although many Republicans continue to back Trump, Bolton, who is considering a presidential campaign himself, argued it is a mistake for members of the GOP to continue to align so tightly with Trump.

“And I think it’s important to stress that in this case that involves hush money to a porn star to cover up an affair that later involves cooking his company’s books, you have not heard a single Trump defender stand up and say, ‘Oh, that’s not the Donald Trump I know.”

Bolton has always come across as projecting the nasty side of the US, one who follows Kissinger's amoral transactional power politics. He seems to have no limit to the depth he's willing to drag the US down to. He told an interviewer from NPR that the invasion of Iraq was the right decision and one he would make all over again. But he's telling truth about Trump. So there is that.

It is boosting him for now, his fans are no strangers to doubling down, however the indictments will continue to drop and it will erode some of his independent support. If he runs, I figure he will do it from a cell or some kind of incarceration. We will see what Alvin will hit him with on Tuesday and the announcement caught Trump off guard and he is still reeling. It might lead to an increase in his republican support, but I think that too might be temporary. If he gets the republican nomination from a cell or in the middle of multiple trials and a shit storm of legal issues, I don't think he will do very well in the general. A bull moose from a cell and MTG as his VP stumping for him might be best, if he can take enough of the republican base with him and divide the republicans even more.

Seriously, if the democrats win a mandate and in light of recent news they stand a good chance of taking fox down and making their business model problematic. Fox is the main source and amplifier of the culture wars and a propaganda arm of the GOP, win in 24 and I think they will be gone after public hearings. The GOP is in a self-destructive phase by cling to Trump out of fear he will turn on them, and he will.

I started this video at where George Conway speaks, currently divorcing Kelly Ann for being crazy, he hits the nail on the head, it's about the republican voters as much as their politicians. Dividing them is the best way to beat them, you can't convince them, and nobody can divide them better than Trump.

bolton running for president? He's just as dirty and duplicitous as trump, and has no fucking personality, good fucking luck with that.
I think some of them run just to raise funds, and then live off of it till the next election...

He is a big enough asshole to qualify as a GOP nominee, but there is some quality lacking, he is not completely unbounded by reality as a proper republican presidential candidate must be these days, and besides, he knows things and ignorance is required too.

The Hunger Cliff Shows That the GOP Is Pro-Poverty
Millions of people are losing essential food assistance because Republicans want to impose work requirements that benefit corporations—not families.
