Found a 240 watt Quantum Board LED for 45.99 usd

Hey guys I was looking around on amazon for led lights and I found a grow light called SmatFarm QS 2400 it supposedly uses 240 watts and uses samsung lm281b+ diodes and all of this at 45.99 usd lol i purchased one of these lights today and i will keep you guys updated on how it turns out! i am currently growing in a 6ft x 2ft closet and i was only using a 100watt led light so i hope this light works out!

Smatfarm? Sounds like it must be in Boston.

Interesting, but I don't see how this doesn't fall into the Too Good To Be True category. They claim to use LM281B diodes but it seems to cheap to be profitable with those. No pics of the driver, and the design is well, unusual. But for $39 after clipping the 15% off coupon on the page, I might just have to order one out of curiosity. As long as it doesn't die, it might be alright for clones and seedlings, even if it sucks. I'd like to verify how much power it actually uses.

And I totally thought an R was omitted from the company's name. Nope, it really is SMATFARM, not Smartfarm. Their aquarium light gets decent reviews.

honestly man im in the process of buying a 2x4x5ft grow tent for my closet and all i have right now is a 100watt led grow light so when i saw this smatfarm 240watt led light with samsung diodes for 45.99 i had too jump on it! i will let you know how it turns out its supposed to get here on march the 31st. If you buy one i hope all turns out well :)

Well guys i received the light today i used a lux meter too test this light vs a 100 watt quantum board with lm281b diodes and this 240watt light is a lot brighter 20230331_144148_HDR.jpg

Has a better spectrum than most lights on this forum. Also adjustable veg/bloom spectrum, which automatically makes it better than most lights used on this forum. The diodes are outdated, very cheap to use, not as efficient, but still OK. Hope the drive holds up.

Yeah man i kinda feel like i wasted my money but for my seedlings it will do! ima invest into a good led light down the road

Nice thing about Amazon is it's easy to return it if it's junk.
