Kwahtro (Strawberry Cough Bx1 F2) - My F1’s are producing great representations of the SC mother, huge yields, 10-11 week flowering times and an amazing Strawberry Funk.

I’ve worked to create this cross over the past few years, I’ve grown the mother for almost decade and wanted to make it available to as many as possible.

It has a nice hybrid heady high that you can enjoy all day long. Opening a jar you’re hit with strawberry undertones with enough funk to fill your trunk. Be warned people will smell you coming from a block away.

Its actually a pretty easy cut to hunt down but trusting the source is the trouble. I believe mama funk on strainly had it at one point. Mama funk at least tests for latent virus so there's that going for them.

It’s an amazing cut, everyone should have a chance to grow it. My F1’s tested out great and I found a really great representation of the mother.

Dark heart is carrying it now so I'd expect it to become more readily available soon. They've done a bunch of drops of it to northern California but only 2 drops to southern so far. I picked up 2 of them 2 weeks ago so haven't flowered it yet cause I've still got it in quarantine after killing off the mites it came with.

Hi Grojak, i just ordered all the seeds i could find through the relic and dynasty sites, to strain build a wonderful variety. Do you still have the mother growing? thanks for the thread

Kyle Kushman of dark heart did not make strawberry cough. It was made by a grower named John Daniels. Kyle Kushman took credit for it and axed John Daniels best fried (gifted Kyle Kushman the genetics) out of the buisness. The John Daniels cut is also not actually in existence anymore.

I bought 10 different varieties of consumption and cough. all from dynasty and relic vending sites. wishing to build a strain as monumental as the original SC (Jon Daniels) hes the guy that gave it to Jeff Cavanaugh who gave it to KK.
sorry for the rant but Kyle Kushman ripped him and everyone off for his own gain. Dude is a butcher for trying to sell and reproduce the garbage that SC is sold as today under Bud's and Rose's. Certain people deserve credit and deserve an apology for the shit talking KK did. KK got famous for trash talking the dude who made him his fortune, (jeff Cavanaugh was the basement grower that KK got it from and Jon Daniels created it in Burlington Vermont maple street collage apartment 1999.

i don’t currently have it but I know where it is when I want it. I’m torn though, do I take it to BX2 or work the Bx1?

I know of 2 cuts that go by Strawberry Cough, and people that hold them. One is sweet like strawberries, the other is sweet but has some funk overtones, I’ve not encountered others who claim to have it so I can compare the cuts Either way both cuts are dank AF

Is there anywhere you cataloged you journey? Do you have pictures of the male you used? Did you use a male or a cut of strawberry for the back cross? What were the original qualities of the BX1 F1s you selected for your F2s? What clone variant are you using for your project?

when I was the work I was pretty absent from boards, didn’t have IG then either. From 2017-21 I really didn’t login. I might have pics but nothing online.

My bx started with a male I made by crossing to the clone only. I’ve not made the F2’s yet but have found girls that reflect the origional so I’m feeling good about taking it to F2. That’s on hold for now, got a couple other males selected for an indoor and OD projects this summer.
