I learned on a WW2 era GI Jeep on my aunt's farm at 11 years old. Driving a normal stick was a piece of cake after that. Except I had a hard time getting used to 3 on the tree shifters, never liked them.

That was how I learned. My grandpa's army jeep on his farm.

Where's the tassels and playing cards on the spokes? My Schwinn looked like that but had a set of bars on the back for the passenger. We welded old bike forks on to the existing forks to get the stretch and rake right. Giant ape hangar handle bars and you were set.

Same in the 60's...
We had a jump at the bottom of a hill off the side of the road, you went between a tree on the left and a garage on the right. Managed to not run into either one somehow.
