you can be truely happy doing a job that you love for next to nothing but food n shelter in return. im just going to start doing some volantear work here. https://www.skandavale.org/ i love care work, allways tried to look after those less fortunate then i. theres a hospice there and people who need carteing for in general. plus they have 3 elephants, one ive met, had a life altering experiance with her too. now i may get to see her again, it's valliI think I'm having one. Although I feel like I've been having one ever since joining here. I believe there to be no correlation though lol. I post a lot of shit on here. But every so often I get real and want some solid discussion. This is one of those times. This post is probably going to end up just being stream of consciousness stream of fuck really. But been doing some math and realizing I'll be 40 next year has got me really thinking about my future and life. Primarily if I want to keep doing the same occupation for the next 27 years as I've done the past 21 years. Work like a dog for almost 50 years doing something I don't really love -- just to enjoy, if I'm lucky, like 13 shitty years at the end. Seems more and more like a scam. I really have no formal education or training. But my job is so weird and demanding. Anyone go through something similar or change careers late in life? Am I pussy? Is this normal? Any input?
im 54 and think in going through a bit of one, im getting a 3,000 pound malcome young gretsch double jet limatit edition guitar too
