A vacuume break is basically a small leak downstream of the pump back to the rest. Usually just a small T in the discharge hose. When the pump shuts off it allows air in preventing siphoning.

Who said dabs aren't dangerous? I beg to differ.

Have you tried thread tape? What is everyone using for table drains? I have rain barrel bulkhead fittings, but they seem to leak from the threads. Maybe try a better quality bulkhead... Was looking at ebb and flow drain kits but not sure if the size will work. Looks like a 1/2" drain but I need a bit bigger
I did tape them. I generally tape all my threads. It leaks less, but still leaksHave you tried thread tape?
That's fustrsting.I did tape them. I generally tape all my threads. It leaks less, but still leaks
Worth a shot, and some plumbers puddy. What about a sink drain?Maybe a copper bulkhead?
Yea it's driving me nuts. I did buy the bulkheads from amazon (china) so I'm sure they aren't the greatest quality. I have that hooked up to garden hose end, into a 5/8" hose. That's fustrsting.
Thought of this but the size is too large. Haven't been able to find a small one that'll fit into the tables low spot. Also I'm limited to about 5" underneath the table. I have a 90° elbow on the bottom that kicks it horizontal without bendingWorth a shot, and some plumbers puddy. What about a sink drain?
silicone seals well, fills voids. just have to let it sit for a day to cure.I did tape them. I generally tape all my threads. It leaks less, but still leaks
