What constitutes an “old head”?

If you are in decent shape age isn't bad.

I've seen chubby 30-sometihng women slothing around, "I'm getting old" with their twisted hips from the shear force of gravity from all the nacho cheeses they swallowed.

At the other end we have that 90 y/o guy on TV hopping around like a grasshopper selling his inversion table.
I always say to people age is nothing till you actually feel the age you are it is then you should worry

Many days I find myself wondering, at what state in the game would one be an “old head”? It’s a desired title of mine. But as many apparently even “older heads” will remind me, I must be a “head” or “young head” still.

is it an age line? At 40 am I an old head? Or is it a degraded bracket? So at 40, I’m an old head to a 30 year old, but to a 50 year old, I’m still a “younger head”? Is there a cut off or an old head prime? At 70 will I no longer be a head at all?!

is it the product smoked? Or life experiences? Say at my 10th bonnaroo do I get a bracelet? If I live in California for 5 years and grow at the frog level in Humboldt, is that a fast pass? Maybe lovers past? On my 10,000,000th joint will someone stop by? Do concentrates count more? Countries visited? Strains found?

or is it political? Like the Illuminati? Do I need old heads to verify me? A closed circle of heads if you will? Is there an application or temple of the heads?

do I get bonus points for never snitching or hating ? Or if I know who really shot Kennedy?

really what I’m asking is what are the next steps?
Every time you ask, your "old head" status gets postponed by 2 weeks. Sorry I don't make the rules

I don't consider myself an "old head" set by the standards of the weed community and probably most in this forum. On the other hand, I'd be considered an old head by the standards of the type of music and lifestyle I led during the 80's as a teenager with long hair. We were all called Heads at the time. I bought 2 chips of Hash from old heads at the local shopping mall in this community's context though. I'd consider my uncle an old head since he was smoking weed in the late 60's/early 70's.

**Edited for brevity**
The back of one of my old school snowboard bindings has that logo. The other side is Danzig's. You can barely see it anymore though since it's faded.

I just looked them up. And they're really cheap it looks like. I made some more like the bottom left and the green one above it.

i've been a pothead since 1969 or 1970. i dealt for most of my life, first joints, then lids, then kilos and beyond. i stopped a few years ago when we went legal. i've also grown most of my life so i didn't have to deal with running out and having to smoke from dirt weed that smelled like something nasty and people i didn't like or trust.

i got stationed in thailand for a year and lived as a civilian in thailand for 2 years because their northern weed in the 60s and 70s was stunning, despite what that government report said about the average thc being 10% or less. the vast majority of the weed they tested was very average mexican and jamaican. decent weed but not even close to the stuff from South and S.E. asia. or columbia, or panama or some of the craft mexican stuff. it's annoying when somebody says that their uncle smoked thai stick in the 70s and it sucked. people used to shove a bamboo stick through any bud they had and called it thai stick. dummies had no clue. the air force guys i knew all wanted to be stationed in thailand. the girls were fun but there were girls at home, there wasn't much thai stick as guys in the military rarely sold when they smuggled home. if you smoked it, it stoned you to your bones.

i love weed more than i can express, as i don't have a poet's soul.

Close enough, we can call it prose.

My biological father was airforce stationed in thialand in early 70s before end of the war.

We met about 5 years ago. Talked for a few minutes. I know he smoked pot back then.

Might have to look him up again and see if he has any decent lies to tell me about the good ol days
