Their discontent will grow this winter and spring. Vlad is making one huge effort and throwing in near everything he's got if they are defeated it will break them or the army. Driving them from Ukraine might not bring peace, especially if Belarus becomes involved, but it should be the end of Vlad. Others like Yevgeny Prigozhin can't just "take over", they have a VP, parliament and processes these days. The army will probably have a coup, if the security services "took over", there will be major issues replacing Vlad, he can't just name a replacement either. There is also an election coming up in Russia, they have the form, but not the substance of a liberal democracy.let them fall on each other and rip out throats...it's more than they deserve.
