Is lime stone like this oyster too
As am fucked if I can grind another 19 cups of shells

Learnt that lime in the shop is mixed with dolomite haha wtf

this is the same phosphorus and ca right ? I can’t find oyster shell it’s self flour form fast enough delivery

I found it just need to workout how much to add to raise ph from 5.9

It’s an organic medium fresh mix there temporary fix
This is about managing the acidity over time from peat as it drops

If your trying to raise the soil ph use the lime . You’ll have to do math most likely for amount in your container. Sulphur lowers soil ph. Its almost impossible to raise or lower with phd water only imo

Gypsum and oyster together work wonders. Maybe gypsum and dolomite would work the same. But the calcium sulfate (gypsum) and cal carb of oyster kinda balance each other out to get that just right spot

oh peat is a pain in the ass why not just switch to coco as it has a natural ph of 6-7. i switched to coco for my base material and i really dont miss peat at all and my roots are healthier and plants are happier.
