looking good.
what temperature you running
Hot up here. Past couple of months it's been low 30's in the grow room during the day. Low 20's overnight.
I bought a cheap portable aircon unit last year that I set up outside room. Unfortunately only drops the temp
by a couple of degrees. Waste of $250. Oh well.

Two more weeks( shuffles suspenders Earkle Style)
Cool, that puts flowering outdoors in Melbourne very close to what most websites say. I’m happy with that.
Been fighting a small Mealy bug issue but it’s well under control. I’ve done 3 high dose Neem sprays in 7 days. Fuck that shit makes me itchy scratchy….can’t even look at em now without scratching!

Was that an overt invitation to gratuitous sexual advances???:o

You're only just beginning to start, given you're in Melb. A couple of weeks will confirm it for you.

Don't sweat it & go with the ride. In the next few weeks, it'll be VERY obvious to you. This is just inexperience on your 1st grow. Everyone goes through it on the first one. You'll be fine.

my 2 cents
if you were thinking you could start feeding flower nutes forget it
dont change to flower nutes just yet just keep feeding it grow until u see proper buds
Gave em liquid potash last night and they look very happy this morning but if you recon I should stick to Powerfeed for a few more weeks I will.

yuck powerfeed is horrible stuff imo, i tryed it back in the day tastes shit, give it coco grow nutes until the weather really changes cold
then feed it flower type nutrient feedings a bit later

ps. if you try to force feed it flower feedings now to early is a rookie mistake chill out and let it stretch a bit :weed:

Some Aussies hate Powerfeed, some love it. Either way with such little amount of time before I stop Veg feeding (1 or 2 more feeds) I’ll stick with it…no point in changing now.
the liquid Potash I got was recommended…bottle says “Boosted potassium fertiliser - 20% potassium (K). Contains added phosphorus - 4% phosphorus (P). Here’s a pic of the bottle. Whatcha recon, any good?

it will work maybe, but i would advise to go to a good hydro shop and get the right stuff

if you insist on bunnings/ mitre 10 stuff then i would recomend this instead of power feed

ps. if you on a budget theres single part coco nutes or i get the two part grow and bloom.:eyesmoke:

Most important thing you can do is keep notes about what you are doing and when, and then when and if something foes wrong you know what to correct next time. Especially in flower.

Yep, I’ve kept detailed notes on everything I’ve done since germination…and agree, it’s great to have notes to refer back to when needed. So far it’s been a great run with only one problem (Mealybugs) which I fixed fast with high doses of Neem over 8 days. I’m hoping (and kind of expecting) a problem free run till the end…regardless, I’m confident if problems arise I can spot them and fix them (with help from my fellow Aussies on RIU).

If you get to the finish of your first ever grow with no problems you should be proud of yourself, when I think about my first grow it is just laughable, but it was pre internet so thats my excuse.

The thing about flowering is once you have nice buds on your plants you are limited with what you can spray for pests but it is the changing nutrient needs and whats in your medium. Sorry I forget if you are in soil or coco but yeah your plants a looking good

Without the net I’d have no plants! I did about 100 hours of research when I started…blogs, YouTube and the last 450 pages of relevant posts in the Outdoor threads here.
No spray during flower is a worry for me but I’m thinking even if the Mealybugs come back they will have limited time to do damage (they suck sap) before harvest. GG#4 is a fast flowering strain so all I can do to wait n watch. I’m in premium organic potting soil and have done Neem soaks which may help when I can’t spray.
Here’s a pic from this morning. Looks out of focus close up but that’s the soap/Neem showing from a light shower.00E5E007-6D87-4260-B372-1ECA567751A4.jpeg
