Visit the Okanagan Valley in BC. Fantastic place. Last trips up I’ve gone 97 from Oregon all the way to Prince George. Cross at Owyhoos. Virtually no traffic there.

NY gets a bad rap because of NYC mainly . Most of NY is nothing like the city . Any storm that shuts Buffalo down is nothing to laugh at .

Agreed. One of the prettiest drives we have taken was from the Hill Island crossing down I-81 through to Binghamton. Interestingly enough, we were on our way to NYC. If I remember correctly, the further south you went, the more hills and thick woods you can see. Like ... everywhere.

Oh wow ... I wasn't aware that I-81 was that close to Alexandria Bay and Boldt Castle.
