Nice garden! This is what a Diablo should look like at about 2 weeks into flower. Then slightly lower light throughout flower cycle. But still even at peak flower with co2 I never get closer than 24-30 inches. View attachment 5236744View attachment 5236745
Thanks mr fisherman!Nice garden!
Totally.Hi, they are 650w super strong in pars..it is so weird because it's like totally different than 1000w hps intensity
IKR! Me neitherWtf man, you never offered me this!? Lol
It's the number 1 bullshit.IKR! Me neither
Have you tried Cal-Mag?Of course I listen , please do explain
Unlike most other 600 watt grow lights that demand 24 to 48 inches of space between the light and the plant, the HLG Scorpion grow lights only require 12 inches at full power!
That one I copied from one page where they explain scorpion diablo usage...of course now I know that have to be careful with them and not do that unless plants after slow introduction can handle it.
You like mids ?!IKR! Me neither
Prolly better than my seeded schwagYou like mids ?!
Beautiful garden! Is it creepy that these pictures put me in the mood for a little bit of "slap & tickle"?This is what a Diablo should look like at about 2 weeks into flower. Exactly. Their website recommends 15-24" above canopy for the 350R, and 30-36" for the 650R.

Lets not get personal here.. We all here for info not validation I hope. The light is only as good as the person running it.
So you construe that as meaning you can take plants grown under a T5 and chuck them 12" away from that with 50% power? It doesn't work that way but hopefully you're moving in the right direction reducing the DLI to approximate their T5 experience and slowly turning up and shortening distance as they accommodate.HLG Scorpion vs HLG 600 & HLG 650R:
If you’re deciding between the HLG Scorpion, HLG 600 and the HLG 650R, the main difference on the Scorpion models is the ability to grow plants at a short 12 inch distance beneath the grow light. For that, there’s a bit of premium in the Scorpion price. The Scorpion will spread the light better at that close distance than an HLG 600 or 650R. Otherwise, the wattage used is similar on all of these lights.
