HLG SCORPION DIABLO led lights , plants are not reacting well to the lights...!!!

Even if the plants are 6 weeks old, medium is coco/perlite, and they're 17 inches tall? 10% at that height doesn't seem like enough.

Whats the wattage of these lights? I'm not sure I saw that.

Prob too close. 25cm… I run the HLG 600r and my light is mounted as close to the ceiling of the 4x4 as I can manage. I adjust light intensity with the dimmer and let plants grow toward the light.

I've been running the Scorpion Diablo for two grows now, I just yielded 1230 grams off the 9 setting, 2 grams per watt. The light works.

Try turning the dimmer down if your canopy is close to your light,
What's the temperature in your grow room?
Are you soaking the plants to run off?

From last night it's been down at 20% only and they are looking a bit better , leaves are spreading more natural now , not like my metal halide group but better than yesterday..

50% of the full strenght that is no 5 click .10 clicks would be the max...and I have them around 25-30 cm from tops...as what is recommendent with these particular lights.

30 cm seems quite low. I run my diablos full and about 3 feet from canopy for veg

When I created my profile for the first time I was struggling with pythium , but of course when I was creating my profile i did go and misspelled the word and it was not possible to correct it anymore so there it is stuck for good ..

I can’t read the rest of the post so don’t know if anyone has said this. But hps and led require different environment. Pretending your being fair with a side by side really isn’t cause the temp and humidity will always be different needs

You had the light way too close to start out with. I like to start my flowering plants with the diablos at 20+ inches above, and running at 30%. Like others said, gradually increase from there. "Full blast" for me is running the diablos at 60%...

I have 4x lights so I can keep them closer and no need for max power usage , but good to hear from users how theirs are working for them..mine are now 20% and 25 cm a part and now they start to be a bit better..

Unlike most other 600 watt grow lights that demand 24 to 48 inches of space between the light and the plant, the HLG Scorpion grow lights only require 12 inches at full power!
That one I copied from one page where they explain scorpion diablo usage...of course now I know that have to be careful with them and not do that unless plants after slow introduction can handle it.

You’re acting like this is your first grow ever, do you not know how to read a plants health yet after all these decades growing?

Plants can get light stressed under HPS and show the same symptoms as well.

Exactly. Their website recommends 15-24" above canopy for the 350R, and 30-36" for the 650R.
