Best camera for bud pictures

No budget I want the best. I think cameras will be better quality overall.

I'm confused on why you would need more than a cell camera to document your buds.
Yeah marketing, sales , advertising.
Currently have S22 Ultra and the pictures are not good enough.

My s22 ultra takes great pics of the buds. Go into portrait mode and then try.

Its probably less the camera and more your shooting environment. Proper lighting, and/or a good light box would be half the battle.

You’re selling to growers and smokers. Not art connoisseurs. My iPhone 11 does a great job and has a closeup setting. And it’s always with me.

Of course having some decent photo editing skills doesn't hurt either. The really nice looking shots are only half about the shot and half about editing.

Not singular to this seed business...I see some of the shots from heirloom vegetable places and they're totally blasted out too.

Most photography is trickery. This is why people look Good online but in person.... they look good from afar but far from good.
Take my profile pic for example. I had just finished working out and the light is just at the right angle to allow shadows to fall. This creates a deep looking cut where the shoulder meets the bicep.
If the light was at a different angle my shoulders would not look nearly as big.
Again trickery. Is what it is.

I can relate to the op my zx and every other Android I've had is pish for taking bud shots, the newer IPhones are in a different league, but I see there's more emphasis on quality phone cameras now I'd like to see the results of latest.
Consider 2nd hand, there's some giveaway bargains available on 2nd cameras it's a buyers market.
Something like a nikon D5200/7000 dsl are flexible and not ridiculously expensive for top notch cameras.
D5200 2nd hand are available £150/200 cost new £700
I've not got a pic from the same spot but it's the same plants 2 days later.

Fujii finepix S1500 cropped and file shrunk.
software can't make a bad picture good ime.
