Coco doesn't need any amendment to hold more water, coco already has massive water-holding capacity and vermiculite wouldn't change that in any meaningful wayYo! Just again want to mix coco w vermic. to water it less often. Who knows if it is a good mix yet?
Respect!I’ve done both and saw absolutely no difference. I thought it would hold nutes. Or be some magic nobody knew about. Idk. It’s all a waste of money in pure coco. The drainage is great as is. And works as a sponge with nutrients as well.
I hope I don't die from the perlite and vermiculite I've inhaled
I swear to God, reading about it, and using it, for soil it's absolutely retarded, I just used it from a seedling mix article I read, they must be in an extremely arid region using it cause whre im at its not necessaryvermiculite sucks. you can just wear a mask for perlite, then wash it, then it's no problem. i run 100% perlite. have for years now. it's great.

aside from that, I'm usually an organic grower, I enjoy aerating with pumice, but it's too heavy, so it's perlite and I RECENTLY began some vermic mixed it, and it's made the soil to sludgy and dense...no good, in a place where it's dry af, I get it, but if not, it's stupid..I did just start a couple coco coir with perlite and been using Jack 3 2 1, it's DNA Chocolope X Mr Nice SSH male..the growth on them is just retarded compared to the organic grow...I wonder if the taste will be on point..I'll cure in a clean dedicated tent with a merv 8 lasko jerry rig, and a carbon filter outside the tent with a temp of 69ish..and a humidifier if needed. One of the best cures I did was in a closet with the middle closed, but the outside slightly open, with a small fan on the bottom..just air exchange and not scorching days...but yeah..sorry to rant..need to get it out
Wear a maskI hope I don't die from the perlite and vermiculite I've inhaled
