Post some full plant pics. Personally trichomes are the last thing I'd go off of. Once that's hairs all brown and recede into the bud you're good to go.

No sweat. Your plant. You can chop when you want.

I don't bother looking at the trichomes anymore. The plant/buds, take on a certain look when ripe. You'll eventually get an eye for it.
