Most of that info doesn't matter much. Lumens? meh, who cares. 5000K? A little on the cool side, but it'll work. The important number there is the 60W. That said, I have no idea what kind of diodes it uses. Surely they aren't as efficient as say, Samsung LM301's (which are like 90% efficient)... which means you'll be giving your plants probably in the neighborhood of 50W usable energy. Which isn't much, about enough for 1 square foot of plant space.

Just something for a flowering outdoor plant imma bring in at night I was hoping cause it replaces 300w it would be decent I got a 9w led grow light for flowering but not nearly enough light so was hoping this would be better

LED bulbs from the store like to say things like "Replaces an X watt bulb" which is saying it replaces a 300W incandescent bulb, which we all know won't grow shit in the first place. 60W is the number that matters. You can support about 1 square foot with that bulb in flowering, maybe. And maybe 2 square feet for vegging.

I was hoping to go to an all led system not this light of course (to save on cost) are you saying I will still need well over 100 wall watts for my tent then?

It depends on how big your space/tent is. My flower room is roughly 5.5' x 3', and I'm running 650W total at the wall

For optimum growth with LED you need about 40.5w sq/ft to equal an HID/Hortilux HPS.

I get this figure for watt sq/meter from my Gaita 1700e. Gavita says its a direct replacement for a 1000w HID in a 4 x 4 area and is 1700 umol. A 1000w Hortilux HPS is about 1645umol.

And the Diodes have to be the best Samsung 301b diodes, and may add in some Osram Red diodes.

So in a 4 x 4 area, for optimum growth you need between 600w-650w of LED. Gavita 1700e is 645w.

For a 5 x 5 area you would need about 1000w of LED to get 40.5w sq/ft.

Id use a 4 x 4 area out of the 5 x 5 and have a bit of extra room to have room to move things around a bit, instead of jamming the full 5 x 5 space full.

5x5 = 25ft^2

We want at least 30W per ft^2

X/25 = 30
X = 750

And no need to go past 40W per ft^2

X/25 = 40
X = 1000

You need between 750-1000 watts for that space

Ok thanks guys y’all a big help as usual was hoping the corn light was a good idea but at least it will help me bring the one in been looking at a couple big led systems trying to play it safe with the 1000$+ price tag that comes along gonna get one with a dimmer and hopefully oversized I got a 7x14 gonna be fun setting that up but got till the new year to get it right
