H2O2 ratio for bud wash?

I use a quart of 3% to four-five gallons, dunk a couple times then soak in fresh water before drying. Its not strong enough to kill all the mold spores but it still does a good job washing off all the bugs, debris and pollutants. There is a study where 12% is necessary to kill botrytis, a much higher concentration than a quart of 3% diluted in water.

Do you only use hydrogen peroxide? I’ve read about lemon juice and baking soda mixed with it and then plain water rinse before dry.

Personally I think if you have to wash your buds for any reason, they are one step away from trash, and washing them isn't going to eliminate your issue 100%. I'd just make edibles from them.

The buds are still sticky stinky shiny and dense. I don’t have a infestation of aphids. I’ve been picking and spraying daily with water so I’ve kept the numbers low. I hate edibles so that’s not a option for me. I might just smoke them buggers. Lol

I had to bud wash for the first time in about 10 years. Had a minor thrip issue during flower, so I used Diatomaceous earth, instead of an insecticide (it worked quite well). You don't want to smoke DE (or breath large amounts of it). So bud washing was necessary to get the residual off (plus the thrip residue). Of course if I look back at the Mexican ragweed we used to get in the 70's, aside from the copious amounts of sticks, stems, and seeds, it had, bugs of all kinds, butterflies, feathers, even found a dead bird in a brick once! But we smoked the weed.
