You just stab a bud with the probes? 9%wood mode equates to 61% rh? That's awesome info. With this meter, I can read around 9% in "wood" mode, and be dialed in pretty good for a cure at 61% RH in the CureTubes.

I have one of these moisture meters for firewood. Do you stick the probes in the stem? Or aim for a dense section of flower? As I type this, it occurs to me it'd be tough to get a reading off flower but curious about your method.. thanks. With this meter, I can read around 9% in "wood" mode, and be dialed in pretty good for a cure at 61% RH in the CureTubes.
Stick the probes directly into the colas. Clean the probes every now and then with ISO... otherwise it can give false readings when dank stickiness starts building up on them.I have one of these moisture meters for firewood. This is what I am trying for my first try.It really is as simple as maintaining a 60f 60rh environment and leaving things alone for a couple weeks. I’m picking up lumber moisture meter before next harvest to really get it dialed.
