Spider mites

My plants have spider mites. I lost my plants last year to these little buggers. I sprayed with insecticidal soap and killed the buds. I hate this, every time in September I get these mites. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to safely get rid of these things. My brother said he sprayed his with Raid but I think that’s crazy. Any help would be appreciated.

Spray your plants as the light dims, so no sun to burn buds and leaves.
Safer's Soap

Lady Bugs

Pics would help

How far along are the plants? Are they in bloom I'm assuming? The only thing I feel safe spraying on buds is citric acid and even that will possibly cause some browning of the pistils. It's still the safest bet if you're in flower. Raid should not even be sprayed in the area of your plants much less on them. Your brothers weed is toxic as hell now. Nasty.

What’s the ratio you would use on flowering plants?

It's absolutely safe to use. I would still suggest a bud wash after harvest just to rinse off as many dead mites and eggs as possible. I've used 1 tsp per quart of water and a little stronger but like I said it is possible to burn the pistils with it. It's in the canning section of the grocery store and is great for ph down as well. Test the 1 tsp per quart strength on a branch and see how it goes. If you don't have burn the next morning then I'd give them a good hosing down. Make sure you get under the leaves on the bottom and the stems too.

Thanks. I’m going to get it tomorrow and I’ll post in two or three days

Could ya submerge plant in water to drown the fuckers ! Could be better than loosing it all. If just vegging you could hit them with a diatomaceous earth slurry spray.

Ya gotta " get back on that horse " ! .
Your right I’ve been up all night. I went out this morning and in two plants there all the way up to the top. All over the stems and leaves. I’m so devastated. Two plants it’s on the bottom. I’m going to get citric acid today and spray tonight and see what happens. But I think I’ll probably have to throw them away:spew:
