80% of the time your pest problems come from that fresh bag of soil you opened up. FFOF, King Rootz, roots organic, Mother Earth, etc etc…
Gnat, Aphid, Thrip larvae, and others are always possible. Starting off with a “soil” or root drench once you introduce untreated/new soil is a good idea. PureCrop1 is what I use @ 1/2oz per gallon of water as a drench. And it can be mixed with any feed program etc. Kills all
Larvae and is 100% organic.
Take a look at PureCrop1 everyone it changed my ipm game.

I'm really just a outdoor grower, but I've been at it more than 30yrs.,also I know some indoor people, all I can say is growing indoors w/soil is asking for trouble, use a coco medium or go hydro, these 2 methods guarantee a sterile environment. I know it's said soil makes the sweetest bud and I agree, between the extended life cycle of outdoor plants plus a killer soil mix,my bud is always sweet. But indoor requires so much more investment and overhead that I wouldn't even consider risking my investment to FKN mites and other crawling bastards, sterile mediums is the only way inside IMO.

Coco/perlite is the only sure way to go,I grow 2-3 crops a year of 4 plants and get from 12-16 oz dried Per plant. Check out cocoforcannabis.org I followed there automated system and never looked back. The only issue I’ve had were fungus gnats but nothing serious in 5 grows now, in the past I’ve had every other issue you can imagine but now set it up fill res add nutes, PH and sit back. I do use IPM and flush my plants a week before flower. Good luck
