A couple of months ago I ordered a case (12) of butane, and when it arrived there was only one can along with a bag of metal anchors, to tie down a tarp or whatever. They made me jump through all sorts of hoops to fix the problem. They ended up sending me a new case. So I scored a free can along with the bag of anchors that I'll probably never use.
What kind of anchors?

I've spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years on Amazon and the only problem I've had was some tomato seeds that were not what they were supposed to be. I only read the bad reviews and assume the good ones are fake. I try and buy products shipped by Amazon as that means they're holding the inventory and scrutinize the seller more. That also means next day delivery in most cases.

well let me clue you in my friend those times are a coming to an end there buddy cause i also shop at amazon and im having to return 90% of the crap that i order because its faulty or wrong or broken during transit and i see now its not me its actually happening to a lot of people. and its getting worse.

it started with ebay when the chinese hacked it and list stuff they dont have, take payment, then never ship. then when you are wondering who to contact about where your item is. then you find out ebay has no customer service and have to contact the credit card company to get your money back.
Na. It's just getting better, we'll be fine. Can't please everyone...

I got one box via ups it was a box of Olive oil bottles and they said the other two boxes broke or something... they were undeliverable
How’s it a fabrication? And horse water, drink if you choose..

9 times out of 10 reading the reviews and questions on the listing can reveal if the picture is accurate.. never shop by picture alone

Haven't really had any problems. It is a pain for me to return items since they require you to drop them off somewhere. I'm 15 miles away from a drop off place.

If the fault is the seller's, Amazon let's me print a free label and sends a UPS guy to my house to pick up the item. It's strange that they don't give you that same option. They list the UPS pick up option last since it costs them the most, are you sure you don't scroll all the way to the bottom of return options?

I guess I might have missed that, I usually see the option of taking it to a UPS store after printing the label. Could be because I am in the sticks. I return items if they don't fit so I don't know if that is the sellers fault.

UPS can be cocksuckers about picking up a package for returns to amazon. If the package is not in plain sight they throw the label on the ground and leave. Then they say "package wasn't there" and so sorry you are now fucked.

They don't knock for your package. They drop label and run for the hills.

They have done that to me, as well. It's not a huge deal, just contact amazon chat and tell them the UPS never showed up, and they'll send another. No shortage of UPS guys ;)

I have a dozen Amazon drop off locations within a mile from my house. Portland and the surrounding area is very Amazon friendly. I'm also just a few miles from the main UPS and FedEx facilities. It's strange when tracking a package to see it a few miles away and then get transported 15 miles to another warehouse and then back closer to me. But that's the way their logistics work and they're all doing a good job at getting packages delivered. People don't think about it but there's a ton of stuff that goes into getting that package from shipper to recipient.
