The fishing thread ( not about fish fertilizer)

Got out on the mini boat for a bit over at a small lake in vallejo. Had a blast catching bass. Got 5 in about 4 hours. The biggest was about 3 lbs.

I got fucking hammered by something massive but when I hookset I came up with air. These haunt me for a while.

I can remember vividly 3 years ago thru today all the times I was hit by something huge and had nothing on the other end. I will be back to where that shit happened next week lmao

Ya I know that feeling lol keep on em . Its like the ones that you do get a hook in and mid fight they houdini it somehow like just nothing. No break no straight hook just gone. That always blows my mind.
 
I had one a couple weeks ago I could hardly move. Im for the most part( I’ll go after anything if someone asks) exclusively a bass fisherman and the lake i was on doesn’t have predators except bass ,small and largemouth and chain pickerel. It straightened a bass jig size hook in a swimbait. Just gone never saw the fish. I can tell whats on my line with 99% accuracy. Just by the way it reacts and fights. This was a bass i have no doubt. My pb is a 9 lber. I think it could have been bigger. I spent the rest of the day fighting with the voices in my head about if i was pissed I didn’t even get a look at it or if I was happy I didn’t see it

Managed to fix my reel, dug into my reel graveyard and found a donor. (Thank you citica) Frankenstein but it works until my parts arrive from California

Bud if you don’t know , if those are original wiggle warts , bass fisherman are paying a small fortune for those online. Quite a few of the originals actually. The flat fish lures bring back childhood memories lol

I wouldn't know I dont fish bass lol. I know they slay salmon and trout though
I don t really sell any of my stuff,. I have so much, I'm def a collector of things.
