Anybody move plants from outside to inside for flower?

I’m only asking because normally I take my bulk of the summer plants from inside to outside and plant them in a few various spots. which I did this year but I kept two of pants in five gallon buckets at the house to keep in the porch. my wife is all paranoid and she wants me to put them in the extra tent in the basement. Which is fine I’ve just never moved them from outside to inside and was wondering if anybody has had any luck doing that or if it’s a waste of time.

I would bomb the heck out of them first, to kill all the critters in the soil. Hot shot no pest strip them in a box for a few days or something...

I was definitely going to do that and cover the top with Diatomaceous earth I also use microbe lift in all of my waterings to keep any larva at Bay and I keep seventh dust on the top layer of soil while they were outside but definitely going to keep them isolated from my other room. Nope. It’s already easy enough to track pests indoors. I don’t want them hitchhiking on outdoor plants.

Yes. I've done it successfully on several occasions.
I've a plant at the moment that was vegging outside that's was brought in a few weeks ago beside indoor growing plants.
You just need to keep a close eye for pests. Have pest control lotions and potions to hand, just in case......
You are keeping them isolated from other plants which is good.
I see no problems.

I definitely wouldn't use any HotShots/Dichlorvos anywhere near my cannabis. Or anywhere on my property for that matter. There are other methods of dealing with pests that don't involve using a toxic poison. That stuff is nasty.

I can't believe they still sell Dichlorvos in the United States. It's been banned in the EU. Hell even India has banned it.

I haven’t really noticed any leaf damage from mites or anything like that but will keep my eye out for them when I move them. It’s raining here today so I think I’m going to bring them in today.

You gotta do what you gotta do. Keeping the wife happy is priority number one. If she's paranoid about them being on the porch then they have to be moved.

Be preemptive and attack them first. Soil drench and foiler spray from sns

I did this with a pepper plant, biggest mistake ever. It had aphids and mites in the soil that was just an endless battle of spraying every 2 weeks all winter and spring until I finally just said fuck it and binned both tents and sterilized, which included a bunch of bell peppers starts and cannabis starts, all from seed.. all were slow to grow and "sickly" no matter how well I sprayed, the mites in the soil spread to all, and aphids... holy fuck, they born pregnant little bitches... Never again. Bugs get into every crevice, crack, flap, fold, etc it's near impossible to get em all, so better to 100% avoid them in the 1st place.

further to this, I did 3 girls outside last year. unfortunately they didn't finish and no way I was bringing them in, they were completely infested with all kinds of bugs, caterpillars, worms, flies, aphids, spiders, all whole eco system....

so my recommend is NO.

build a small greenhouse, with cheap wood and poly, keep it outside.

I have these mesh baGs I’m going to use to cover the pots with too. I’m not real keen on doing this but I would hate to chop them. I have a bunch of outside plants already but can’t really add them where they are.

I’m so on the fence about it I’ll proabably just chop them. We put 115 outside this year these where just two extra I kept at the house it’s no real loss to me just was thinking about it I already took some clones so I think I’m just going to cut them down and call it I can’t handle any other infestation it drives me to the brink.

You would be surprised how much food and other imported items are fumigated with it. The main bulk I dare to say. Fabric bags of grains and other food items open to the air and whatnot. Otherwise it would be over the limit of rat feces and bugs infesting the supply while its shipped long distances.

I would never use it in my house, or want to breathe it at all, even though it states no more than 4 hours on the package.. I'm picky about chemicals too, and only use natural things in my home for the most part. My grows are far enough from the house I don't worry, and bomb my trailer from time to time. Hardly ever though.

Pretty sure its not really systemic as in the plant matter becoming contaminated from it, so it shouldn't hurt veg plants IMO, or show up on any test later on in the flowers.

I feel ya though man, but I'd rather wipe out resistant borg mites than deal with them if they ever show up again. I'll make an exception for that. No other product has ever got rid of them for good, I don't care what anyone says. You still have dormant eggs in your wall that you missed. Ya'll kno its true, and those that say they rid of them spraying this or that still have mites show back up, unless they shut down for 6 months and tear out all the carpets in the house too. No one wants to talk about it though, because its like talking about your contagious disease or something once everyone knows you've had it.

Sure non toxic methods will keep them at bay I suppose.

If you have a spot that is shaded half the day but better hidden, years ago people used mirrors to increase garden size.

I only use their 209 203 and 217 and never have pests
