Realiable seed bank

I recently had a bad experience with new420guyseeds. I purchased a pack of San Marta gold columbian, a land race Sativa, attached is a pic of the plant, short plant with wide fat leaves clearly Indica, be wary of this seed bank.
Bro you can't guess the entire genetic makeup of that plant on 2 to 3 weeks growth. Let er go and i bet when she gets some height, she'll start displaying the traits you're looking for.

Dude has a point in that New420Guy does advertise it as the Gold

It probably is as you said its phenotype could be manifesting itself with wider leaves due to environment etc i guess he will find out when he flowers it out if it flowers fast and the leaves stay wide then its clearly the other one and has been labelled incorrectly as the gold if it takes ages to bloom then you know its probably the right one

I had a look on this guys site the first thing that made me laugh was he lists white widow in the energising category it clearly cant be the original i know cos after smoking that you aint doing much lol i aint ever tried his seeds they might be good or bad idk all i know is i disagree with that

Actually man, my dad brought bag "bag seeds" of White Widow from the Amsterdam Cannabis Cup that it debuted at, and I can tell you FOR CERTAIN the o.g. White Widow was a super energizing high, smelled like lemon peels & used to bring tears to my eyes it was so pungent. These new Widows that are out, are a shell of its former self.

The opposite of my experience then the original stock i tried wasnt lemony or super sativa in high even the more sativa leaning 12 week phenos still smoked like a hybrid put it this way its my favourite strain i still have some bagseeds of it myself too it was more pungent piney bittersweet slight hint of mint almost with a tiny bit of a hashy expanding finish this shit was strong its still my fave overall strain to this day cos i aint had anything else smoke like that

Attched is a pic of the " columbian gold " plant, do you think its Sativa? No this Indica will be killed before flower, not going to grow a mystery plant.

I agree it may be an unintenitional mix up, but why the company does not respond to my complaint, should be a red flag on this seed bank. I will not do business there again. Unfortunately it was the only pure Sativa in my grow.

This is off seedsmans website.
Jungle Wreck is the serendipitous product of some degree of confusion in the breeding labs. It resulted from a cross of an unknown Colombian indica strain (thought possibly to be Santa Marta Gold) together with a mystery citrus-flavoured indica plant. Although an accidental product this strain looked so promising during its growth that it was allowed to go to full maturity, a decision which proved extremely fortunate as it exceeded all original expectations.
Sounds like he`s working on mysteries without any clues.
I`ll try and stick to North Atlantic seeds 3 orders all quickly shipped and very nice freebies.

I recently finished some of his SMCG, they looked just like yours when young, and progressed to some very nice plants. Granted, these have probably been hybridized, but I don't think you will find pure landrace worth growing, due to the variances in potency etc within a gene pool.
It is a crap shoot if someone has not explored and found a good plant to go forward with. My plants were great yielders, with a cerebral high, not fully cured yet, so the jury is out on potency, but I would give an estimate of maybe 15-16% THC.
My only complaint is there is a lack of flavour and smell while burning-but I have had this problem with several strains lately and am starting to think it is the fault of the nutrients I'm using, so I can't say it is the fault of the plant.
Overall, it is a nice plant to grow, and it does start to turn golden late in flowering (not yellow). If enough of them were grown out, I'm sure some very nice examples could be found.
On another note, I also did a 72 Colombian from USC, and that was from what I could see, a good example of a pure sativa, unfortunately the end product was hay. I have since found out that there are good and bad phenotypes in this line, I just didn't;t get a good one . A sorry waste of 6 months growing time,
