I want a 50 caliber air rifle in the worst way
Funny thing is I just learned about the big bore airguns a few weeks ago. I had a groundhog problem in my grow area and the little .177 pellets guns were useless. I left the shop with a .357 Texan. The best thing about it is it shoots the same .358 projectiles I have on hand for my Blackhawk and Big Boy. It really likes the softcast full and semi wadcutters, the coated bullets I use for magnum loads in the Henry are all over the place.

I shot a doe with my Blackhawk at 100 yards
Put it right on her shoulder and dropped her
Cause it went through her eye

Thats better. I prefer you say what you really feel than to argue the gun/ bullet matters much. You probably want shotguns removed as well to be honest though. I live in a shotgun only deer state and you should see how we can run a pump gun….
i don't really want anything removed, but people cannot act like fucking adults, or even sane children, so whatever has to be done to keep the fucking psychos in check is what has to be done.
i enjoy shooting, i have a shotgun, a rifle, and 3 pistols. i don't WANT to give any of them up, but if that is what it takes to keep kids from being murdered by crazy fuckers, then i'll give them up, because children's lives are more important than the enjoyment i get from target shooting.

I have a couple three muzzle loaders. Great fun, but wouldn't want my supper to depend on them.
people did depend on them for supper for 400 years.
in 1610, artist, gunsmith and inventor Marin le Bourgeois develops the first flintlock for King Louis XIII of France.

No. AR doesn't stand for assault rifle. Im sure this thr÷ad has determined that by now.
I hunt crossbow, blackpowder, weapon is a tool. One shot one kill.
Too bad all guns weren't one shot. <sans law enforcement & military >
How many lives would that save?
Just sayin
BTW, I am a meat hunter, and the deer meat I put in my freezer is often my supper. I've dropped deer at 150 yds. Never had the use for a high powered rifle, nor a handgun. Xbow, .50 or .56 cal smoke pole, or a good knife. Or 2. Or

a lot...it would give victims time to run the hell away instead of being mown down like grass...
you may be able to switch 5 round mags pretty quick, but not as quick as firing off a few 30 round clips

I'm in a shotty state as well and have seriously been looking at some of the new inline muzzleloaders. I saw a review of a CVA shooting a 200 grain 40/45 sabot at around 2400 FPS. That's essentially like having a single shot 30-06.
New inlines are sick. 150 yards is not an 'iffy shot if your a good shot and comfortable with your tool.
Don't really like tooting my own horn, but I'm one of 'those guys' that's just a natural. I've outshot guys on bench rests, doing their breathing thing, all new and or expensive sabots and scopes. I'll snapshot from my shoulder and hit the hole they made.
Not bragging, it's just a gift I got. No idea how I do it, just happens.

Unfortunately, that’s not gonna solve the problem. Every legal, law abiding citizen can turn in thier guns, and this shit is still gonna happen,… only difference is, you’ll be unarmed.

Fuck you mountain lions! I hit one driving 2 years back and have been convinced they are out to get me ever since. Was going down the interstate coming out of the mountains and the thing jumped over the center barrier and landed right in front of me. Hit it and saw it go in what seemed like slowmo past my window, there were claw marks on the bumper and wheel well area. Then had two close encounters out hiking shortly thereafter.

Welp, that's my tale. Eat shit mountain lions, you majestic creatures.

*I pulled over initially after hitting it, then immediately realized it would be a bad idea to jump out of the car to check on a wounded mountain lion. I guess it ran off, we didn't see it back in the road, called the county sheriff and reported it.

I never understood the mentality of only police should be able to carry effective weapons for self defense. Some people want to limit law abiding citizens' options for self defence to a pointy stick, 911 call and a prayer. After you call 911 the man is gonna show up with a double stack semi pistol anyway.
So, if you believe it's perfectly fine to call another man to handle your personal bussiness....doesn't that essentially make you a cuk? :P

Ideally, you want to conceal carry with small frame .. like a Glock 43 ,9mm with Critical Defense rounds. You’ll only have to buy one box for your lifetime. Otherwise, empty your CD rounds for ball ammo practice. The Sig P365 Macro is another great carry weapon that’s not heavy as fuck.
