Man that’s fucked. We had to cancel our summer trip. Unless we win the lottery

I feel that burn. With inflation not just gas but food,rent,utilities a vacation would be a miracle. A vacation for me is sitting under a preassembled gazebo at Lowes and reading a paper.

That’s crazy I got a Nissan Sentra last year I’m glad I did I got it for four grand could probably sell it right now for like ten but I used to drive a Lincoln and it drank gas I still have my truck just don’t use it much I spend about three hundred fifty on gas between the mower the edge and my Sentra for work

That Sentra is gold with these gas prices

I can say one thing, the prices sure haven’t changed anyones driving habits here seemingly. I have a hr commute to work on a 65mph highway. I granny it in the right lane at about 70 and it looks like im driving in reverse lol

Petrol here in nortern Europe is now 10,63 for 1 us gallon(3,8 liters), allegedly still going up...

No body is buying gas from Russia. I figured Europe would have an over abundance of fuel.
So you guys are getting the worst end of it.

They're great cars the golf gti especially the diesel model, volkswagen make good cars in general but the gti is a classic over here.

I love mine. Wish they had sold the gtd version here in the states.
Basically cost me 10k after the paybacks from the dieselgate scandal.
Lost a few mpg's from the "fix" but it has been without a problem up till 95000 miles. Afraid this may be my last standard transmission vehicle the way things are going

The emission controls basically turned off if it wasnt in a testing situation. Something about the dyno only spinning one set of wheels and no steering wheel input. They found a workaround.
I got nearly 700 miles to 13gal before, now im around 550.

Ahh yeah... I remember low balling people that wanted to trade a WV in because they didn't have a solution/settlement at the time, and people just wanted out from under them. Got em' cheap there for a while.
