Humans like to argue about where the moral divide lies. The disagreement on the boundary between good and evil has spawned thousands of religions, philosophies, denominations, schools, cults. I don't consider a drunk driver to be evil, I consider them to have made a terrible mistake. If anyone is evil in that situation, is is the alcohol manufacturer, who knowingly mades and sells poisen to the masses, which invariably cause them to make such terrible mistakes. My grandfather killed my grandmother before I was born in a terrible drunk-driving accident. He ended up drinking himself to death for another 15 years or so. I don't think he was evil, but he did fuck up big time, and suffered the consequences.

My children are adults. The government is not my parent and I am not the governments child. You are the best person to run your own life, but not others lives. Do you agree with that as a core principle?

American epidemic? Yes the government of the USA should be disarmed. Totally irresponsible with dangerous weapons. Always going around droning people and starting wars.

Society that doesn't take care of sick and injured people? Are you willing to shoot your neighbor if he doesn't want to fund your ideas? Isn't that selfish? I voluntarily donate my time to worthy causes and don't think forcibly redistributing others time and money can be called charity. I hope you agree with that.

Government schools ? I hesitate to claim victory absent proof, but the purpose of the Prussian School System, which was brought to the USA in the mid 1800s was to instill obedience. I could post a diatribe on that, but I'm too lazy to at the moment. I'm correct, don't make me do a diatribe.

You sound angry, may I suggest you focus on running your own life ?
