It isnt though, dragging the less shitty dude becomes an implicit endorsement of the other team.

I'm sorry that my non-binary voting methologidy upsets you. It's weird though, because I thought that one of the core foundations of liberalism was by defination, "willing to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas".

When they are honest andor informed opinions! I am not obligated or served by respecting the flood of lying swill coming from Repugs bent on eroding the republic.

What group do you view as otherwise peaceful that people are turning their guns on rob? They both are happy to use the military for things they shouldn't, you can argue both were happy with various middle east excursions for instance.

The rhetoric is pretty one sided when you get down to the more personal level though. There aren't a whole lot of people wearing pussy hats or whatever waving a rifle around demanding you take it from their cold dead hands.

Military and police, what I think you might call agents of state sponsored violence, do happen to fall pretty heavily into one political party.

Who will enforce "stricter gun laws" and what will be used to enforce them ? Won't police and military use guns to do that?

All political edicts require guns to back them up. If all they sent was scary letter demands to pay or to obey, we could ignore them. All politics is based in violence and removal of individual consent. Coincidentally. so is rape.
