Yea I am trying to get it down I even got 35 pint dehumidifier in 5 5 6 tent does a lot but even when I settle lowest 30 percent can't get lower then 45 50percent. I have it Set tilt drain have that ran to drain. Got tired of bringing out all those buckets. Maybe my inline fan is messing it up 8inch inline fan andcarbon kit got that out the tent venture g out window and I also have a portable LG AC unit running24 7 that goes out tent them vent out another window. Its was so hot so had to add the ac. What can I do I think this viva sun 5×5×6 rooftent only has 1 bottom vent causes that and top is taken by inline got some other tip vent got them closed. Wanted your honest opinion I know you good. Gave you as much info as I could thanks manI run anywhere between the 50 and like 62 percent during flower it’s hard to maintain where I live as rainy days effect it differently but I never seem to have a issue as long as it doesn’t stay high for long periods of time and I keep the air movement up
Make sure you have a nice breeze , not a air tunnel, try to stay under 65%, if you need air flow remove bigger fan leaves or cut them down in size, starting at the bottom, let the air travel up the plants. Just remember leaves r energy! You should be fine unless u have a massive group of plants with no air flowMy concern with anything above 50% RH in flower is higher potential for pathogens and also most bugs prefer a hot/moist environment. I can understand the concern.
I've never had success with home dehumidifier units, I had to invest in Quest units to actually hit the numbers I wanted with humidity.
I should be sponsored by Hurricane with how many of their wall fans I have. lol I even have one in my bedroom.Make sure you have a nice breeze , not a air tunnel, try to stay under 65%, if you need air flow remove bigger fan leaves or cut them down in size, starting at the bottom, let the air travel up the plants. I've just harvested again growing with 60%+ humidity and again no rot.I've never seen 44% before lol

You’re going to want a big boy - atleast 35 pint but if you’re going that big it’s only a few more dollars for 55+In a 48”x48”x80” tent i got 5 plants in 10 gal fabric pots and ac infinity cloudline 6” ventilation sys. In flower week 3 n water 3 quarts every 3rd day. Humidity has been 62%-56%. If i get a small dehumidifier for inside of tent how many oz of water or gal does it need to extract per day?
Your just gonna battle your ac running a dehumidifier. I wouldn't use a dehumidifier unless I was in a damp basement that stayed cool on its own. What do you run your ac temp at? Set your ac a little lower, it dehumidifies too. You’re going to want a big boy - atleast 35 pint but if you’re going that big it’s only a few more dollars for 55+
They look good bro! My humidity jump up and down been dialing everthing in this hole grow still am lol. In my 5×5×6 tent I have inlinr going 60seconds every 30 minutes. It's big 8 inch inline I know bit big but got good price. IT VENTS OUTSIDE. WHEN IT RUNS HUMIDITY GOES UP TO 60PERCENT OR SO THEN GOES BACK DOWN WHEN NOT RUNNING. I HAVE AC UNIT IN ONLY BOTTOM VENT PORT THAT VENTS OUT ANOTHER WINDOW. SO NOT TO MUCH FRESH AIR COMING IN. IS THAT NORMAL FOR HUMIDITY TO GO UP AND DOWN?Like others have mentioned running 50-55% is fine as long as you have good air movement in the tent and you do things like clear out the bottoms of your plants of all the larf and leaves that never see light. These plants I have in flower right now for example are being grown in 45-50% humidity. I have good airflow and I'm not worried at all if they go up to 55 for a bit. I just crank the temp up a little to accommodate the extra humidity. Letting them have some space helps a lot too. When I run four plants and they're packed in with a really tight canopy my fan underneath runs at the bottom of the canopy instead of straight up like now.View attachment 5131496View attachment 5131490
So I prefer to keep tent temps 80-85, running the AC to dehu hurts that goal.Your just gonna battle your ac running a dehumidifier. real good info, notes taken! Why so warm. My tent is usually about 78 in the summer. Right now I have ac at 75, 53%rh, tent is 78 at canopy and 76 at the pots. If I needed to drop rh I'd just drop temp a lil, if I wanted it to go up raise temp a few.
I wouldn't want my tent to be 85 pushing 90 sometimes for so many reasons, but the first one that popped into my mind was temp swings at night. If you want slow growth 20 degree temp changes are ideal
