Will you guys play music for plants?

Seriously though I don't think they care what you play. I'm guessing rap or anything with good bass is the best, since the bass notes push more air and so I think of it like more air circulation. But I think you'd have to have some decent speakers in there pushing air around, and turned up loud to make a difference. Just my stoner brain coming up with this though, :bigjoint:

I used to play "local public radio" which was jazz and classical, at a super low volume. But I'd always come into the room & the damn radio would just be playing static

Now, i just throw on Spotify via XBOX while in the room, as my lung room is also my man cave/game room. Usually blues, or "Diamond City Radio" from Fallout 4, stuff that's not too intense or bass heavy.

No. Plants do not have auditory organs. Nor do they have a central nervous system. They do respond to gentle vibration, usually in a positive way, but you can achieve the same effect with a fan...
I like to think when mine are waving in the air like they just don’t care it’s not the fan it’s them jamming out to Alice and chains or rage against the machine and pantera

Plants have a shared nervous system. They are connected in living soil. In a pot, probably lonely. ;-)
They respond to human voices more than music. There have been multiple studies. As far as music goes, they respond the same to it all. Maybe slightly better to country. The paper speculates major tonality and medium tempo. I speculate data error or prejudicial author.
They respond best to food, water, and light. Especially my Spider Farmer SF 2000. High quality construction, state of the art diodes, generous spec driver, and my plants just love it. Id skin myself alive before I switched brands. (:

The only study I ever saw that had a positive effect was when they played Indian ragahs on the sitar for plants. Rock had a detrimental effect, slowing and stunting growth
