Why do people use Autoflowers after their 1st grow?

I played with early autos years ago and was disappointed enough not to bother until a couple years ago when I started growing them outside and have now made my first batch of fem auto seeds to grow more outside in a sunnier spot.
These two got me 6oz each and I should do better this year with full sun all day and way up north here that's 18 hours for most of the summer and the sun is right overhead at noon. They loved the heat domes we had.
The middle one is a different CBD strain and won't be grown again. The two in front are Mazarilla by Urban Legends. I had trimmed off all the fan leaves earlier in the day as they got chopped the day after taking this pic. Photos don't start flowering until the middle of August and we have had frost before the end of August but not the last few years thanks to global warming I think. These came down Sept. 11 with about 5% amber trichs and the rest cloudy.
Hanging to dry.
If 6 of these come in at 8oz each I won't have to grow for bud inside all winter and save lots of bux on power. Can just work on my breeding projects which will add to the pile of meds too.

Nothing. His contention was small pots might = quicker finish, and i have an auto in 1gal coco daily fed, still going on day 107 with weeks to go, easily. With autos "it is what it is". This was a "75 day strain" and while I do know the deal with that, was still hoping for something closer to 90

The autos I grew outside last year were up as sprouts on June 9 and cropped with amber starting on Sept. 11 so 93 days is pretty decent, Was getting pretty chilly some nights but at least we didn't get frost until almost a week after cropping but was cold enough to damage tomatoes and peppers the wife had in her little greenhouse.
Gonna do it again this year but scale it up a bit from two.

The problem is you calling that an amazing grow.
Sure you can still smoke that, but an amazing grower doesn't have deficiencies/torched/dead leaves like that. I was just clarifying that your statement wasn't correct.

Replying to the original question. I like my photos inside year around and autos outside in the summer. I'm not doing a light dep greenhouse to finish photos early so the autos are great. It gets too rainy here to finish, so 4-6 autos are great. Autos have really improved over the last few years IMO
