Gettin' bad out there folks.. My nephew, who is a good DWC grower just spent the entire day up in OKC trying to move some product. $700 a lb was his asking. All day long, not a single oz sold, and he's got some fire.
It's not going to get better. Looking on craigslist some of the ads are obviously from those that decided to call it quits. One ad out here is 21 1000 watt lights with 8" hoods, Co2 burner, etc... $1600 for everything.

I’m selling my 21 light grow room, I have everything from the lights to the ballets and everything in between.

21- King Cobra Predator Series grow lights 8” ( 42 3/4” x 30” x 9 3/4” )
20, 7 of 20new in box 8” intake/outtake fans
18- 1000w HPS Ballasts ( Sun Leaves Luma 3.0)
8- Lumatek Electronic Ballast
10-LED lights
3 -12” intake/ outtake fan (sun leaves)
2 - Metal frame shelving units
1- Standalone AC unit
8 inch insulated ducting
12 inch insulated ducting
1- MLC - 16DX master controller
1 -12 Intake can filter( new in box)
Reverse osmosis purification system
1- CO2 burner
And many more

So, can anyone recommend a good electrician that can run me a dedicated 220(240 i know) line back to my room up here in Stilly?
My grow, well, it's growing. Not just the plants but my entire setup will be getting rearranged, and with the newest unexpected equipment acquisition I'm having to expand my grow. This morning I won my 2nd light here on RIU. And this one is beastly as well.
This makes it where I'll be pulling some SERIOUS amperage through my residential wiring. It's handling it nicely with my current setup but with adding this light, I'm going have to get air conditioning and the additional pull of all this I'm afraid I'll burn my house down. A solid dedicated circuit would mitigate the danger of overload. Is this something a rather handy person can do safely?

I am a retired electrician and a pretty handy person can do it if they have a basic understanding of electricity and how it works. If I lived closer I would love to help you out but I live in south central Oklahoma. Running a dedicated circuit is not hard but if you do not have basic understanding of the electrical field I would call a licensed electrician. Wish you the best and happy growing.

I know some, but I'm not sure it's enough. I can wire switches & outlets, but I've never messed around IN the breaker box. And i know my incoming lines need to be able to handle it also. I'm just paranoid about electrical fires, lost one house 20 years ago. Not from growing, squirrel.

As a general rule if you aren't sure I would call an electrician. Should not cost much to run a dedicated circuit. I wish you luck my friend. Wish I could help you more.

What strain/strains was he showing? Are people growing apple and banana crosses, Gelato crosses, runtz crosses? Just wondering what's in stores.

As someone who has smoked tested weed can you really tell a difference that much between higher thc weed? I’ve heard it’s all about the terps, just curious on your experience
Actually, mid THC/ high terps are where it's at. We've had some 11% THC/4% terps that would blow our SourD out of the water at 21%THC/1.1 terps. The more terps, the better. It has more flavor, aroma, etc. You don't need that much THC to kick in the entourage effect of the terpenes.

So, is the supply so vast that pricing doesn't matter? Or are more places vertically integrated, selling pot they grow?
You can have illegal marijuana that makes money for criminals. You can have legal marijuana that is of very little value. You Can't have both.
