Tomorite is just fine. The standard one is NPK 4-3-8. I grew Autos outdoors with it last year and it was great, some of the best weed I have ever grown. I had them in 4 gallon pots with Big Tom tomato compost. I just watered them at full strength weekly, from when they started to flower. I also top dressed with a teaspoon of Epsom Salts when they started flowering too. Worked really well.Im thinking about using Tomorite, would normal or organic be better?
Brilliant information,, thank you so much!Tomorite is just fine. The standard one is NPK 4-3-8. I grew Autos outdoors with it last year and it was great, some of the best weed I have ever grown. I use it indoors now too. Indoors I use it at half strength every watering. As my tap water contains no minerals at all I have taken to giving them a touch of Epsom Salt and Calcium Chloride on a weekly basis, half a teaspoon of each in 5L of water. But adding extra minerals only really applies to my scenario.
I haven't tried the new organic one yet. It is NPK 3-3-3 + 1% Mg. I believe it is formulated to work with their new Peat Free Organic compost grow bags. I always use the soil mix from Tomato grow bags because it is perfectly balanced and super cheap. I will be giving the new organic feed and soil a try with my next run, I have a load of free sample seeds to put on and I'd rather fuck them up than the rather expensive Skywalker Haze I have to put on.
