Cuz that shit ain't right    lol jk, i gotcha
What happened was I was doing some experiments with solo cups before Christmas knowing that I wouldn't be able to finish them as I was going away for the holidays.

So I took the biggest of the bunch and put it into the bucket and left it where it would get about 2 hours/day of sunshine.

That's what happened, it just grew straight up and was leaning over, so I had to add the post to hold her up

It's a Dillon 550C ammo loading press setup for .45 acp and 10mm auto. Lots of things go on in my little man cave.

I was best man for one of my closest friends, we drove up together to rural MN to visit his future wife's family and I was told he was very panicked that future dad-in-law loved guns, lol. So 5 minutes in the door I'm in the basement filling shells with one of those loaders, having the time of my life as his future dad shows me all the hidden compartments all over the house with guns everywhere, lol. My friend hyperventilated.

Message to dad's with daughters...yes the gun thing will scare the crap out of your future son in law. So go for it lol. Filling shells somehow is almost as awesome as firing them.

Seeing as the OP appears to be well on their way.

It ain't fun when you are about 8 trimming, flaring and tumbling 1000's of shells from the local National Guard Armory. My fathers best friend and our neighbor was a quarter master or some inventory control positioned person who brought all shells from practices to my dad. We cleaned and conditioned for resale at gun shows. It was 78-79.

Please be well versed on reloading. It is potentially fatal without a firearm. LOL.

Listen to me.
Growing pot ain't fucking Bonsai.
I see too many growers, mostly novice, that try all these methods to grow a very simple plant that really just want's TOO BE LEFT THE FUCK ALONE!!!!., & they complicate it.
This is what I have found out after over 35 years of popping seeds in every form/shape/manner.
I understand the visual attraction of a pruned/trained plant, but every leaf/branch removed from that plant reduces it's ability to breath/feed.
Think about that
Yea, that's fucking right!!!!!
Leaves do capture light ray's/aspirate/display plant health, like if you don't have any fucking leaves you will not be able to see any def's/illnesses.
Leaves are a roadmap to the plants health & the plants only source for food really & a major storage area for water.
No leaves
No photosynthesis/water retention
If a leaf seems to be blocking a bud (really has no too little effect).move the branch/bud/ leaf/don't cut :)

Short story about pruning/defoliating, but 1st off, this is only my opinion, so be aware..............THAT MY REAL NAME IS GANJA GURU :) ( 6 grams kicking :) ) in?

I grew for awhile in a pretty high humidity enviromint in my basement with tight areas between plants, so for added air circulation around the base of the plant I would take off habitually the lower 4 branches for added air flow, figuring they're useless anyway
One grow I said fuck it, I have enough fans & didn't cut anything & I'll never forget this one branch I cut that was like the 3rd up & it had like 6 beautiful buds on it & I never trimmed again.
True story.

So, buy good seeds/water& feed SIMPLY!!!!!! (NPK is all the same/fuck AN)/don't trim/good light/temp below 90 F & RH-80% OR LESS & your good to go

Good luck :)

PS
Plants are very droopy.
Water/Light/low N/ you figure it out :)
One of the best posts I have read on this site.

Why grow a 6ft plant and strip the bottom 4ft?

Defloliation works for some strains much better than others. However timing is key and the plants health/ vigor are important.

Mild defoliation at day 21 of 12/12
Also lollipop bottom 1/3

Couple weeks ago. Donkey Dicks everywhere heavy enough to break solid branches. Silica only helps up until 1 week prior to ripening. I've had to stake and restake twice now.

I don't strip my plants naked the way I've seen some do but I do defoliate at days 1 and 21 of flower and at day 21 I lollipop them. I also mainly grow indicas and very indica dominant hybrids with huge leaves. I only have 425 watts of cob LEDs to cover a 4x4 tent so I'm not pushing quite as much light as I'd like. I also don't need more than a pound of flower a run so lollipopping them cleans up all the fluffy BS I don't want to trim and might herm on me as it's not getting enough light. Some people might want that popcorn bud for hash or not mind trimming it for the extra production, it's just not worth it to me.
If I was running 1000 watt HPS or 650 watt LEDs I would be leaving more plant mass but for my style of grow 14-16" of canopy depth is just about right. I have just sort of developed an eye for what looks right to me over the years as far as how much is too much as far as fan leaves and pluck them accordingly. It's just what seems to work in my particular setup based on years of trial and a lot of errors.

Sometimes i pull leaves for my own convenience

Case in point: IN NO WAY do these plants need any defoliation, i think we all agree. But, a day after this pic the biggest fan leaves made it hard to water the coco without wetting those leaves:

I pulled the biggest 2 leaves from each plant & now it's way easier to water them.
