This Soft Pots good for Growing?

I'm about to sell mine. I don't want to knock them, but they weren't ideal for how I wanted to use them. I actually went back to rockwool slabs for my current grow. From my experience, the root mass from rockwool in a covered tray is only outdone by a DWC setup.
How long can you veg for in Rockwood slabs?

As long as you want really. I had a healthy mother in a Unislab for around 3 years before flowering it.

Can I comfortably do 14 week cycle with the 3 cubes on each slab?

You had a 3 year old in this?

It all comes down to watering. You can grow a huge plant out of a 4x4" cube if you can keep up with the feedings, which would require automation. I usually go three plants per slab, and with a slab that large plus the hugos you could get away with watering once a day.

You want to veg them for 16-18 weeks?

Naw full cycle 16-18 weeks to fill up a 4x4 trellis

I can usually fill up a 4x4 scrog with 6 plants in about a month. I scrog them up until around 2 weeks into the stretch and let them go after that.

OK then 6×6 and slabs it is. I thought root needed more than that for that length of time but got it

Tired of all the coco and soil clean up
I've never grown in soil, but coco is a pain to prep and de-pot / root. I like how I can reuse it in my yard though. Rockwool's biggest con is getting rid of it. I usually dry them out, tear them apart in garbage bags and take them to the dump.

It can be a little tricky to get the hang of. I'm using dutch leach trays and 3x6x36' rockwool slabs that fit inside of the tray. I used to use larger slabs and 4x4 flood trays, but I was flooding them and it was a huge waste of water because the trays were so big.

I'll put 3 6x6 on the 48" slab with a dripper spike in each cube

You can checkout my current setup in my journal. I'm using 4" cubes now, but I'm going to use 6" next time. I think I'm going to cut out 6" sections of the slab and sit the cubes down inside instead of sitting on top though. I think that will keep the rootball happy, the plant can root out of two sides of the cube instead of just the bottom, and it will lower the height of the plants a few inches.
