The loft is cold and usually damp i always vent from another room if its possible if you are going to come from loft use a budget filter or a pair of the Mrs tights clean ones of course lol
Ahahah yeh man I’m gonna use the 4inch filter and 4 inch fan for my intake when the 6 inch arrives this should be sufficient if bringing air in from the loft?

Have you checked their sex yet? Or did you used feminized seeds? You might want to transplant them into a larger bucket and put the dirt up to that first nub
They was clones so already female pal? And they’re being transplanted this week as I can see roots at bottom would you say fabric pots or a 3 gal bucket?

Evening fellas Would this be too big of a transplant for them and should I transplant them before I put the hps up? Leave them under the cfl a few days after transplant should I add perlite when I transplant to help with drainage in the bigger bucket or clay pebbles

Personally I would transfer them into 3-5 gal bucket then put the hps in and keep them in veg for at least a week maybe two. Let those roots fill up those buckets.

My first 'big boy' light was a hps I ripped out of a dentist parking lot. Hahaha. Young and dumb. Lmao. I gutted it and rewired it using an old electric breaker panel box to house the guts. I actually still have it in a box somewhere. Lol. Upgraded it through time with a cheap reflector and longer cords. Man I thought I was the shit with that light. Lol.... Good old days

I was 17, living on my own (well with my girl) and always had a hard on for growing. Tried a few window grows they were ok. Had good sun all day in a bay window so it worked, tried a few CFLs and the quality was. Well. Garb. Lol couldn't barely afford rent smokes and food let alone a grow setup. So thats what I came up with after my buddy told me he ripped one off a plaza roof. Monkey see monkey do right. Well anyways one drunken walk home I just walked up to it and ripped it the fuck off the mount and ran home. Bam. Grow light.

Morning pal thought I’d quote this to you as you’ve most definitely been a life saver I topped my girls last night all is still looking well My new fan and filter will be arriving next week along with my ballast and hps gonna throw it all together next weekend then give my girls a couple of weeks to adjust before transplanting my question is iv been using bottled water for my girls is this necessary or could I use tap water fill my 5litre drums up and use this water when I make a batch of feed I’m in Manchester I used my ppm meter and the ppm reading was around 40 for my tap water £1.20 for a 5litre bottle of water isn’t the end of the world but over time this is gonna add up especially when I’m maybe using 2 5litre drums a week of course this will increase the more my girls grow
Holy shit bro that's crazy good water you got coming out the tap I would
Be definitely be using that instead of buying bottles
