Hi I’m growing in coco and I’m using ph of around 5.8 and testing ph run off it’s coming back 5.4 is this something to worry about my girls are being fed twice a day till run off as only in small pots I must add this is the first week of proper feeding schedule as iv only had these clones about 7 days and fed just water for the first 2 days

Not to worry. You might want to add Cal-Mag for the first 2 weeks. Are they yellowish?
I’m using coco A&B and plant magic root stimulant to equal a ppm of 700 and they arnt yellow tbh I am seeing new growth that’s coming thru green should I still ad call mag for the next 7 days anyway or leave it as is

worrying too much will cause you to fuck up.
What lighting are you using? Wasn’t it CFL?
May want to invest in better if it’s the only lighting you have.
I’m using the cfls till the end of last week of veg then I’m going to switch to 2 or 3 600w hps to see me out till the end of flower does this seem a good plan?

Did you throw this plan together on the back of a first class stamp while waiting for your Mrs to finish getting her nails done?
you’ve got a 4x4 tent right?
2x600w is overkill in that tent let alone 3x600w.
then comes the need for suitable extraction.
I can see already major hand holding for this scenario.
who’s giving you all this counter intuitive advice? Is it the guys down the grow shop.

1x600w HPS or 480w LED.
1x RVK150A1 fan 460m3/h
1x Rhino Pro 600m3/h filter
6” ducting
this is the bare minimum for your tent.
You’ll want to exhaust your air out of the room with the tent In it otherwise you’ll be recirculating already hot air for it to get hotter.
that’s about all I’m giving you for now as the rest you need to go and look at grow room design and building.
Tbh I’m glad you did mention I’d only need one hps Iv never used hps so wasn’t aware of how many I was to need

You have a fan and filter setup now for 250w and 125w CFL’s and your at 27C now.
there’s a boat load of more heat coming your way with HPS.
What fan and filter are they?

The nastiness is because so far in 3 days you’ve created countless posts.
Start by reading and learning.
heck go through my profile for my started threads and you can grow along with some of the journals I’ve done using coco with a 600w or a 400w or a 300w LED.
The basic questions you’ve been asking up to know mean that
1. you clearly haven’t understood what coco is and how it works
2. You haven’t really done much reading on how to grow plants (not just cannabis specific)
3. You were planning on running 2 or 3 lights for like 2 plants in a 4x4 tent which is way overkill and far too much for a newbie.
it’s get very tiresome holding someone’s hand the whole grow when the search function on RIU can be used.
i mean venture into the newbie central forum and read some of The stickies at the top.
I’m all for growing your own but please do some reading. It isn’t hard.
The forum is there to help people isn’t it? And you chose to reply you don’t have to reply or give me advice iv never grew anything other than cannabis which is where I’m at now and most of the forums you either get shouted at for hijacking someone’s post so it’s easier to create my own how’s that an issue you either want to help people or not it means no odds to me someone else will help

aim for between 1-3 air exchanges per minute.
keep temps below 27C at canopy level.
feed minimum once per day at pH5.5-6.2
Seedling/early veg - EC0.8-1.0
Mid veg - 1.0-1.2
Late veg - 1.2-1.4
Early flower - 1.2
Mid flower - 1.2-1.4
Late flower - 0.8-1.0
use TOPPING or LST or SUPERCROPPING or SCROG to keep your plants under 3ft tall.
1x600w should flower almost a 4x4 footprint.
try to keep footprint of plants within 3x3 as this will allow you some room to move
Don’t over feed and don’t underfeed too often.
Don’t flush
Flower until buds are RIPE not by X number of weeks.
Anything here you don’t understand then let me know but ultimately yes we are all here to help where we can but every day you’ve had a new issue or question to basic stuff Dazza.

That’s just because I’m starting out and I’m an over thinker I already know a fair bit of stuff I just like this confirmed so I know I’m heading in the right direction surely that’s not a bad thing? sorry for the “anger” probably a mix of covid+ along with being home for too long instead of at work lol.
That makes sense I’m gonna upgrade my fan and filter when I upgrade to my hps in the next week or 2 what would you recommend that’s not too pricy but will do the job
