Too tall early flower

Heyo. Still a newb. I knew I had to flip soon or they'd get too tall, but It appears I was too late.

Can I break the stems safely?

Should I leave them to grow in to the dark?IMG_20220308_183558645.jpg

Exactly what creature said.

Super cropping may be intimidating at first, but it’s a very effective tool.

Look into LST and other forms of HST for your next grow. Maximize your working area by using training to fill out an even canopy.

Thanks. This one is in 10g ish soil. Killed her brother in the same container. It's cool to pinch and bend/ snap these at this point? I suppose leaving as is would be a negative.

Just let it go and learn from the lesson in my opinion.. You could bend over branches and risk breaking it off or stressing out the plant or just let it go. I had this happen with a couple new plants this run, put them into flower and they damn near tripled in size.. I like medium height strains personally I would avoid sativa leaning plants in the future if you don't like this result.

Supercrop. It's your best option. You should have already done it. The plant won't miss a beat. I do it all the time including well into flower if needed. I also transplant during flower but that's another topic.

Well I went ahead and bent a few stems the day I was suggested, thanks again.
In retrospect I should've gone lower.

Anyhow here's a pic of after the bend and now.
Hope it helps some other newbs in some way :)
