I believe it was more about middle eastern men wanting to join women and children being evacuated by bus. Middle eastern men don't respect women enough to let them go first, they would kick a woman off a bus to get a seat.

You know little of middle eastern culture. I watched a video of middle eastern men trying to get on a bus in The Ukraine while a long line of women and children waited to get on and the men were incensed that they had to wait until the women and children get on first.

Why do people all the sudden take sides, but only after hearing about things through the media. Like, the majority never cared in the first place, but now they do, mostly because other people on social media do.

Right! There are unimaginable hardships occurring right here in the US. "Ours" sounds better than "theirs" though..

I'm talking nuclear disasters that will never be cleaned up, wars, and everything. 100 times worse than whatever you hear about elsewhere.

I watched a few videos too. African men and women getting dragged of trains and out of buses, refused access to trains, refused crossing borders while Ukrainian authorities threaten them, Ukrainians stopping black female student trying to escape the country by car. Anyone wanting to donate, start by funding those trying to get African students out.

Surely Russia amplifies these reports in propaganda to justify their invasion, which it doesn’t, but it’s not an issue that should be dismissed either. Any Ukrainian who obstructed black people from leaving the country should receive a neckshot as much as any invading Russian.

People in several of the countries they flee to would unfortunately undoubtedly do the exact same thing… so would Russians. Ukraine is nearly 100% white, of course they are racist. But yeah, like the thread title says, I’m on Ukraine’s side in this particular war with Russia. (There’s no chance in hell we’ll let them join EU though).

To me it's unbelievable how they can have this NS-ideology tolerance present when Hitler clearly refered to the Slavics as subhumans.
But the whole reasoning inside the right political spectrum is just based on hate, and stupidity/ ignorance.
Hopefully the politicians don't muck around with taking the refugees in. Historically, immigration has led to a better economy in its aftermath +5-10 years later
