AC Infinity Controller 67 users?

Started running a ‘cool down’ cycle today - will probably take a couple days to get perfectly dialed in. I had tried incorporating it before but didn’t like the outcome, but I realized today that I could just set the ‘cool down’ automation without a high temp limit and simply set a high humidity trigger so it doesn’t get to damp during that time.

im trying a 1-1/2hr cool down before my night cycle kicks in, hopefully it lets the temps drop slowly on their own to around where I had my night cycle temp set

I think Automations should be named schedule or something to avoid confusion with Auto Mode.

What set points are you referring to, on, off, auto and cycle or the settings for temp and humidity triggers? The Automation options are Off, On, Auto and Cycle. The fan speed can vary in Auto Mode based on the temp and humidity triggers. I do think there should be an option to set different speeds or temp/humidity triggers at different times.

I haven't used automations yet, I'm running in auto mode using the high temp and humidity triggers, 83F and 60%. An Inkbird set to 78F controls my heater.

The set points I was referring to are on speed and off speed. I wish that in each of my automations flower/veg/dark/light I could set different speeds for the fan on/ off. I have no dehumidifier so after I water I manually turn up the fan speed and this keeps the tent under 50% humidity. Then by the end of the light period its night and I have to manually turn down the fan speed down or it gets too cold. I wonder if the new wifi controller will have more capabilities. The wifi alone will be reason to upgrade.

You'll have to build your own automations... in the 'main panel' at the bottom there's an icon that's an A with a square around it. Click that, and it takes you to the automations.

I think it starts with one there by default that's an 'on' setting one, but it's bypassed. You can either edit that one or start a new one by clicking the + icon in the bottom right. That will give you some options. Set a schedule (start/stop) pick a mode (on/off, cycle (you can have timed on/offs in periodic timings), or you can set different temp/humidity parameters for the times you've selected.

The advanced programming is called ‘Automations’. The tab looks like this on the app

I created those automations by tapping the(+). Its just important you make sure your times don’t overlap when you have multiple automations set.

Just got a 67 for my S6 exhaust fan, setting it up now. One question: can you set controller time from the app? EDIT: it seems time is set automatically via bluetooth.

My uses: I need neg pressure at all times to prevent internal house aromas and insure domestic bliss, so I have min speed at 1 and max at 5 (noise trade-off). Using max temp and max humidity auto triggers. So far, so good. Glad I got the S6 and the 67 instead of the T6.

You may find you need to bump up your base rate to 2 to maintain the level of 'suck' you need. I've found that sometimes towards the end of flower, you do need to step up the speeds to keep up with the odor abatement no matter what.

Yep, for sure, but right now I just have 2 seedlings vegging at 2 weeks, and the low speed exhaust is helping keep my humidity and target VPD in the veg range. I did buy a new Phat 6"x24" filter for when it gets stinky - not needed right now so still sealed in plastic.

I find the issue is less the filter (I've got a big ol' Terrabloom in mine), and more just having enough negative pressure so that the smell doesn't seep out any seams once things get big enough and the flowers have developed to a point. There's no smell outside where my system vents, but my basement level does get a mild but noticeable scent later in the cycle.

I had high southern summer humidity at the time, so maybe that was the cause of short filter life. I've since added a dehumidifier to the "lung room" to prevent this, got a new (better) filter, and am paying more attention to environment DLI and VPD. Learning all the time.

I'm happy to 'rough in' my VPD...temp control is my priority and after that humidity; I average 1.2 for a VPD across a week or so. I have my DLI dialed in pretty exactly in all stages.

Do automations not work if the phone is not close enough for a bluetooth connection? If you are away when a schedule comes around? There are no automation functions on the 67 by itself, they seem to be part of the app. There is nothing about this in the ACI documentation. Guess I will set up an experiment to find out...

It all functions no matter if you're in range with bluetooth or not.

I believe you, but I am from Missouri. Anyway, I just set a 2 minute "on" automation shortly in the future, and the fan ramped up and then down at the specified time. I then set another one shortly in the future, and turned off the bluetooth in my phone after I armed it. The fan ramped up and back as before. OK, then.

You need to be in bluetooth range to do any programming, adjustments or even load the graphs. But once you've done what you need to, you can walk away. The 69 has WIFI onboard so that WILL be able to read/program from any place you've got a connection.

I don't really have a use for the automation feature (yet); just wanted to know/verify how it works. I knew about, but didn't need the 69's wifi, which is why I got the 67. Just trying to strike a happy balance with my pitifully small personal closet environment, without getting divorced or popped.

Correct. Fan speed set can be set from 0-10 in "off" mode and that's the minimum, the speed set in "on" mode is the max. Set both to the same value for a constant speed. For me, programming with the app is much easier and more intuitive than programing with the 4 buttons on the control.
There's a lot of flexibility as one becomes familiar with the control.

As 1212ham says, you indeed can. I chopped my 4 plants down and hung 'em in my tent today...I stopped all my temp riggers and have it set to 'auto' with an 'off' rate of 1 so I'd have gentle airflow through the tent...and I have my humidifier on my inkbird controller set for 60% so it's just doing a nice low flow through to slowly bring the carcasses into drying range.

Also, I'll probably order in a Controller 69 this spring too, which gives the bluetooth but also wifi connectivity and allows up to 4 different connections with different settings.
