It always was amusing to me how Americans are sensitive to words, hence they say "the F word" instead of fuck, like 3rd graders. Yet, you are all part of probably the most racist society in the world, sad

You will be hard pressed to find a new ICE vehicle in ten years, battery technology is advancing. EV's have fewer parts fewer moving parts, are cheaper to produce, last longer and require less maintenance than ICE vehicles. Many countries in Europe like Demark and Austria are almost fully renewable now. Initially there will be a lot of fossil fuel used, but renewables and particularly energy storage will cut that dramatically. The grid needs to be robust enough to deal with EVs and home heating needs. The point is they will cut their dependency on Russian imports dramatically over the next couple of years and won't need hardly any fossil fuels in a decade. Everybody knows this and every car company has bet the bank on EVs.

Shed blood in Ukraine? Probably. If we told Ukraine we would defend them after they surrendered their nukes. If we actually value democracy.

But then again, putin threatened anyone who interfered with its ongoing tactics
And who are we to take issue? After all, it's not our business. I think we said something like that just after Poland was invaded

After Poland this nation had a neutralist bent that is not here now.
