Novice/autos/made mistakes already/ please help

Can’t wait to see the outcome of that pop. I’m gonna follow the same methods suggested by herb and yourself and the others and hopefully I’ll be able to post some pics like that myself in a few weeks. And fingers crossed the first one manages to save itself :(

Thank you ;) Maybe don't top an auto just yet, it's still not recommended, I'm just comfortable enough with plant manipulation to do it but it's still "frowned upon" for autos, for fair reason.

Also, lights: I've personally done autos 12/12 from seed and while they still turned out fine, 18/6 or 20/4 woulda been better for sure. Buds lacked some density and overall size, potency as best as I can say wasn't affected but they still "lacked". So if you're gona do autos, I recommend go no less than 16/8 lighting.

Ok so fresh one sank to the bottom of the glass. Now in the little pot soil soaked and squeezed of excess water and in the propagator

Don't gotta be paranoid bro. You want to completely saturate the soil and then let it dry out between waterings. When I water my seedlings in 4" starter pots I slowly add water until I start to see it running out of the bottom holes. Once you see that you are good to go, just don't let the pot sit in any run off water. Lift up your pot when it's dry, take note of how light it is. Now saturate the pot. Lift it up again. Don't water until the pot feels almost as light as it does when dry.

Just remember that there is a fine line between over watering and under watering and in most cases you are better off UNDER watering vs over watering.

It’s a spiderfarmer se3000 dimmed to 40% and it’s about 18 if inches away. I just watered it this morning again with the spray bottle cause it was before earlier message so it’s not a lot of water and it dries out over night. My worry is when I planted my first seedling in the 12ltr and watered it till it came out the bottom it ended up killing the seedling. This one already much bigger and healthier than that one was but scared if I start pouring from a jug I’ll do the same to this one

Again stop with the spray bottle immediately. Lights should probably be 24 inches or further away. Small seedlings don't need a lot of light.

Let the pots dry out. Lift them up to judge their weight. That will give you a rough idea how wet they are. They should be pretty light when it's time to water them again.

The other seedling died probably because you soaked the pot and continued to spray it like you are doing now. The soil needs to dry out to allow the plant access to fresh oxygen.

I had it at 2 feet but the seedling seemed to be stretching which is why I dropped it 6 inches n that’s stopped? Yeah this little pot dries out quite quickly initially I soaked it completely then squeezed all excess water by hand and potted/popped seed and then didn’t feed any till day 5 there were I asked for the help cause the pot was light. The spray bottle was new then so I could give it some but not a lot. The first time I just potted the seed in 12ltr and poured 3 ltr of water in pot never removed any excess and never gave it anything else but the little seedling turned yellow and rotted. That’s when I took advise to pot this one in nursery pot and transplant and to squeeze all excess water from medium before popping seed and it seems to have worked so far.
