Novice/autos/made mistakes already/ please help

It’s not as easy as you’d think this growing malarkey :D

TBH it is proper easy. Most of the problems we see on here are down to human error. Seedlings are like those beans little kids grow at school, you have to work hard to fuck them up.

I pop seeds on moist paper towels in an airtight box, placed on top of my PC for warmth. Once they pop they go in pre-moistened soil and put under some low power LED T5s and get left to get on with it. Then just keep them moist until you get some decent growth.

KISS.

Here she is today day 10. Got a few new questions

1. when do I give her Biobizz fish mix Right now water only
2. When do I transplant? And
3. Ac arrived today but maybe abit big lol. How do I best arrange tent to fit (everything inside as tent in tight cupboard.

thanks very much guys

With that limited amount of space you could mount filter inside & fan outside, or even fan & filter on the outside.

Thanks shaded it all needs to be inside because the tent is inside a cupboard and it is wall to wall

I’m going to need to pull light down and fan and mount exhaust first and work around it I think space is not ideal

Day 15 here she is. Gonna transplant into 12ltr fabric pot with Biobizz all mix using great white myco on day 18 and start feeding Biobizz fish mix.

Here’s day 20

transplanted yesterday from light mix to all mix and fed first nutes (Biobizz fish mix) small dose as now in all mix soil which was pre soaked. She has been and is still looking a little down, although I’m hoping this is due to being hungry for N. With transplant and first feed yesterday gonna give another day or 2 to see how she responds. Was hoping she would have bounced right back by now.

Day 23. She’s back
Notice your the blades of your fan leafs, how the serration tips are frilled upward.... your plant wants it substrate drier. Keeping the soil too wet, for too long will cause a reduced uptake of nutrients. Also too wet slows the root development and fucks with pH drift. Drift is completely normal and preferred by cannabis, consequently so are wet/dry cycles of the substrate.
Drying encourages roots to seek out water and the end result is a massive root system, much larger than the plant actually needs. But to our benefit, a over developed root system produces higher yield.

Your finicky with your plant, I get it. I was new once too and very eager. Trust me when I say this, you will kill your plant with too much kindness in the beginning. Less is more with seedlings of any variety and Autos especially.

Such great advice.

You will laugh at yourself a few months/year from now when you think back on how much time you spent with the seedlings/plants each day in the beginning. Eventually, you are able to go 24-48 hours without even looking at them. It takes time, though.
