Tesla New Model Unveil...

Describe cheap climate change remediation. You committed to this. Defend that ridiculous claim.
You haven't described it. Nuclear isn't and never will be either cheap or climate friendly.

Meanwhile, last year renewables not including hydropower provided 17% of America's electricity generation.

The onus is on you. You claimed that climate remediation was in the bag. Bull Shit.
No I didn't. You keep trying to play straw man games.

I said nuclear is not a viable option and you've said nothing to refute that.

I said renewables will be the future of energy generation and that's coming to pass.

And all you've done is whine.

You said that stopping global warming is an extant technology.

To anyone awake, that doesn’t mean “stop emitting carbon dioxide”.

It means “ remove the excess already present”.

I have not once seen you correct that gaffe.

Shame on you for flipping. That’s a red hat move.

And you've done nothing to offer any solution at all.

Utterly dishonest red hat move.

Worse, you talk up nuclear power like it's any kind of a solution.

Again, utterly dishonest.

And "stop emitting carbon dioxide" is the closest we have to ending global warming.

But you clearly can't have an honest debate.

I never offered a solution.

You did.

“Stopping” is obviously not it.

U.S. Project Reaches Major Milestone toward Practical Fusion Power

Nuclear fusion could potentially provide abundant, safe energy without the significant production of greenhouse gas emissions or nuclear waste. But it has remained frustratingly elusive as a practical technology for decades. An important milestone toward that goal has now been passed: a fusion reaction that derives most of its heat from its nuclear reactions themselves rather than the energy pumped into the fuel from outside.

I read that, it will be awhile before we see fusion power, unless something comes outta left field. I think we will see renewables like wind, solar and wave/tidal providing the bulk of power, grid energy storage is the key to using much more renewables and making the grid more efficient by using storage for peak loads. Everybody needs a green new grid, evolved on top of the existing one, one that uses renewables and energy storage and is robust enough to support the coming EV revolution in transport. We might use nuclear or even natural gas for a time, but the trend away from fossil fuels will soon make economic sense. With current and coming battery breakthroughs, EV's will be cheaper to manufacture, operate and maintain than ICE vehicles.

i think we're gonna have to kill a lot of politicians and ceos to see any changes at all...
